Vianne was determined to do her best to revive the charred forest. She didn't like the look of it, wanting the greenery back as soon as possible. So she'd work to get it there! Even if it sapped all her energy. And by the look of things, it seemed like it would. She'd grown a few plants here and there, but she was going to put all her effort into this now.

She'd collected a few seeds, and begin to plant them. She pawed at the earth until she left rifts in it. She nudged the seeds in and then covered them. Before she continued, however, she went to look for more seeds. If she was going to revive this place, she'd need as many seeds as possible. She gathered a few more and did the same for them. When she was finished, she observed her work. That ought to do.

Now that that was done, Vianne now hovered her hoof over the earth, feeling magic from her gem pulsate. She hoped it would work, but even if it didn't, she'd still persist. She'd do anything to make sure Eridanus returned to its full glory. It worked, much to her relief. Many small plants began to sprout, and she smiled down at them. It was progress! Very good progress. She could definitely work with this.

The next part involved using a certain spell on each individually. It would be very draining, but she'd persist! There were 6 plants in total. 6 seeds. 6 attempts. Or more, most likely. There would no doubt be some failures, but that would be okay. She'll get it eventually.

She turned her attention to the first one, preparing to give the spell.

It worked without a single hitch, blossoming into a plant with very beautiful flowers of a wonderful purple shade. She smiled. Excellent. One down, five more to go. Maybe this would go easier than she originally thought.

She turned to the second plant, a safe distance away from the first. Couldn't have them too close to each other, after all. They'd need plenty of room to grow. She hovered a hoof over this one, calling upon her magic again.

This time, however, absolutely nothing happened. She gave a huff of disappointment, but prepared herself to try again. She wouldn't let one failure bring her down! She knew it was only the first of many. But if she wanted to become a master of magic, she'd just have to keep practicing. This spell was a tough one, but it was one she'd master! Eventually, anyway.

This one gave life, and the plant soon blossomed beautifully, just as the other had done. She smiled. That was much better. OK, only 4 more to go! She'd get through this, and then maybe move on. Perhaps she'd go to a cave she'd only seen in passing next. It seemed to have a lot of twinkling stars, and she rather liked it. But she'd never had the time to stay for long.

For now, though, she had to focus on the task in front of her. 4 more plants. She could do this.

This one wasn't as much of a success as the last, but it was something at least. It grew and sprouted some lovely white flowers. OK. Halfway done! She was making very good progress on this. It surely wouldn't be long before she became a master! Hopefully the last three would come as easy as the others.

Unfortunately, it seemed things wouldn't go so easily. Her next attempt did nothing. Still, she wouldn't let it deter her! She'd just try again. And again. And again. No matter how many tries it took! She was starting to get a very big headache, however. Perhaps she should leave a break in between some of these tries...Perhaps after this one? It certainly couldn't hurt. In fact, not taking a break was more likely to hurt.

She hovered her hoof over the area once more, preparing herself for the magic that she hoped would course through again.

A success! Excellent. That meant she only needed 2 more. This was going quite splendidly! She'd be done before she knew it. She turned to the second to last plant, preparing herself once more.

Another success! This was going even better! She'd definitely become a master before long. She was almost impatient. But she remembered to keep her cool. She didn't know if anyone was watching, but there was still no way she'd act all excited. She was one to actually be in check with her emotions. That wasn't going to change anytime soon.

She was about to do the last one when the headache seemed to come back full force. Right. That was something that hadn't left. She'd take a quick break and then do the last one.
