Tired and spent, The Bone King put his last burst of energy into pushing himself into Pisces. He had heard and seen the crashing of water, and he knew he was close. The sound, however, echoed all around the room... and it had been very misleading. It had taken the bird five whole minutes to get to the entrance, and another minute to approach the lioness' den. It felt odd to be poking around in a girl's den, but he knew he had to. Now, just where had they decided to stash it in her den. The rocky floor was quite pristine, save for some moss beds off to the side and a collection of rocks that resembled shelves to the other. "Where is that stone?!" He chirped, waddling over to the rock shelves lazily. Blinking slowly, he nosed aside one rock, finding nothing, then another. Rock after rock, he turned them over. Hopefully one had the stone beneath it.

Much to his delight, he discovered the rough and raw gem amongst smooth granite. It glowed a tiny bit, but that was from the light outside. It possibly could have shown joy for The Bone King having come to take it out once again, but he didn't notice. Carefully waving his sore wings about so he could grip the gemstone with his beak, he did a small balancing act to withdraw it from the stone pile, which was now strewn all about. Setting it back down, The Bone King sighed. He couldn't leave this mess everywhere. Nosing rocks aside and back into a neat little stack, Azazel chuckled. "Just the way I found it, right?" Rufous head turned slowly to the rock, hoping for some reaction. Still yet, nothing. Frowning, the bird settled down aside the obsidian-like shard, gazing at it. He tucked his wings to his side loosely, rolling his shoulders. Just hopefully he could rest for a short time and have energy for the return trip. He needed to regain some of his magicka to ultilize his strength in the best ways possible. Resting with a quickly beating heart, the bird lay his head down next to the serenbedite, watching it carefully. He couldn't wait to see if this was true that the shadow beast, his friend, and this stone could all be part of a big mystery and story! Patience was a virtue...

He'd begun to doze off, feeling a little renewed by the rhythm of the waterfalls outside, but he knew there was an important task at hand. He had to get this stone back to the Gembound in the tunnel, and hopefully it wouldn't be a worthless trip. Something had to come of it, for sure! As soon as he stood up, he felt fatigued once more. It was obvious that The Bone King hadn't rested enough... but he didn't care. Shoving the pain in his limbs and body, the soreness of his wings screaming for relief, he willed the last bit of his magicka to let him fly. Faster than he ever had before. He didn't care if it worked or not. Azazel just had to get back there as soon as he possibly could.
