Azar
It's a new world
It's a new start
And it's alive with the beating of a young heart

Azar yawned, opened his eyes. All around him was dark, but he was used to this and his eyes flickered like lights. The fox cub stood up, licking hopelessly at his messy orange fur in desperate attempt to make himself look a bit more presentable. It had not been very long since Azar himself had assumed Kielo lost and just left their meeting place in order to find food for himself. Now, after sleeping for hours, he felt alright again. Azar sniffed the air, but it was blank and fresh, and his ears flattened in disappointment. He yawned, flicking his ears and tail in order to emphasize his annoyance as he started padding away from his sleeping place.

Azar stopped mid-walk and focused his attention on the trickle of water he could hear if he listened intently enough. He shrugged this off, surprised he himself could even be quiet enough to hear such a thing. And then, after a minute or so of shock, he forced himself to move once again and slipped like a shadow through the caves of Polaris.



"Speech."
"Thoughts."

As adept as the young gembound might've been, the sporadic energy that had collected overhead seemed to be keeping an eye on him. That, or he had very bad luck - because a spike of energy shot out of the swirling vortex that was the storm and struck down near Azar's position. While the power hit the stone and not the fox, the energy caused the stone wall to crack and shatter as if it were made of nothing at all. The energy dissipated in to the ground below, leaving a decently sized crater.

As this happened, Azar whimpered hopelessly and twitched as he sprang from one area to the other frantically. He was terrified, he didn't know what had just happened and he definitely didn't want it to happen again. Azar cried and barked, hoping somebody would hear him, anybody. His cries of desperation soon grew into cries of exhaustion, however, as the young fox became tired of running around in circles.
