Regardless of the state of their infection, all Gembound who have come into close contact with the mysterious, pale filament clusters from Pisces and Fornax will now begin to share the same strange experience.

They will never feel, now, as though they are alone. Others watch through their eyes, and walk unseen with them: they can feel this, distantly, vaguely. And they will catch glimpses, snippets of sound, flickers of sensation, from others so affected throughout the caves. When one is cold, others may distantly feel it. When another is happy, or hears a loud sound, or steps on a stone--it resonates throughout the infected; some may feel it, some may not. It is a strange, interwoven cacophony of sensation. They cannot communicate--they will not know who they are sensing--but it is a disconcerting feeling, nonetheless.

Yet... it is right, and it is good. It is as it should be. Their minds are no longer wholly their own, but that is all right. They will be taken care of. And they must care for the now-decaying clusters, in turn. Keep them safe... Keep them safe. They will all feel a strange good will toward the filaments... and to those that they are linked with, both. They are friends, now; whoever "they" are, sharing an experience, together.

Now and again, at entirely random points, they may feel another, greater presence, and hear the name whispered in their mind: an address, a title, what they are becoming.
