Ever since that no-good prissy sissy fuss of a faker, poser, cheater moved in the rhino that lived in the heat and wind of Monoceros had grown restless. Fire loved Fang, she had saved her from dying when she was born, but that snobby Erebus or whatever his stupid name was, was another thing. He was awful, with his patchy white and black coat and ugly purple gem. Couldn't her Queen see that he was a liar? She deserved only the most devoted of followers, and that was exactly what Fire was.

Recently returned from a trip outside of her home for the first time, a bit restless. She had mastered some new spells, and she was determined to prove herself to Fang... But the Queen of Thieves was no where to be found once again. Snorting, the large grey gembound approached the twister and drew still before the wild wind, tail swishing as she watched the air twist and tangle dust and steam.

"I just don't get it," she complained, settling down just within the buffet of the wind-- it couldn't move her unless she got much closer, and the wind was a comforting thing for someone of Fire-- Fire did not exist without Wind. Sighing, she closed her eyes and tried to think about just what was going on in her world. "I'm all she needs, ain't I?" Doubt filled her loud, frustrated grumbling, the drumming roar of the wind surrounding her thoughts and muffling out any noise that the rest of the world might throw her way.

It was rough being a giant, gullible rhino baby. She thought she understood-- Fire, Wind, Water-- but there was so much more to the world. Just what was she missing, limiting herself with, here under the paw of her beloved Fang?

Stagnant in his home, Louie had spent no time going out to explore this world as he saw no reason to. Much of his focus was placed upon understanding what the significance was of his ability to control the microbes and organisms that crawled their way over the walls and within the body and mind of everything that existed. After his encounter with the others, in which he had merely convulsed the entire time brought on by haunted images he had induced through the spores that were embedded in his fur, he had decided to take a step back and merely attempt to get a better grasp on the more simply spells he was familiar with.

Venturing alongside the twister could be both a terrifying and exhilarating experience. It's never ending battle of effortless twirls and high intensity suction would easily be enough to scare one away, but he found the power and force behind it nothing more than a stimulant and he absentmindedly kicked some rocks out from under him in order to fall and join in the delightful spiral. Others had made their homes here, he had briefly made mention of establishing a group but he had yet to really drive it home. It would need to happen soon before the idea simply went stale and the previous enthusiasts found somewhere else to play thieves and merchants.

The rhino looked extremely irritated, only a couple of metres ahead of him he paused and lashed his tail twice. Nearly three cycles old, he was growing up quickly and most of his caution and hesitation was well founded. But his arrogance and self confidence drove him forwards and he quickly ascended the rocks beside him in order to gain some height. Nimbly working his way between the sandstone rock precipices, he barked, "Are you one of the others." Currently, he wasn't sure how many friends the weasel woman had made, she certainly seemed more friendly and charismatic than he was and he appreciated the effort she was putting into actually making this place a home.

Very little could be heard over the roar of the Winds, for they had strong, powerful voices. So when a clear, sultry voice came cold and crisp through the rumble of the twister, Fire had to listen. Her ears twitched and she raised her head, swinging her massive horned nose towards the strange, mangy fox. She sniffed-- then promptly snorted-- tail swishing in the wind.

"Others? Who are you?" Fire asked, her voice soft and almost small in the wind-- it did not carry as strongly as his domineering voice did. It reminded her of Fang, something which made her skin crawl. To him, she was simply a child, whether he knew it or not.

She didn't move to stand up, her feet tucked under her large, cylindrical body. She just watched him from there-- in the tempest, her fire was strong. For some reason, she didn't fear him although she wasn't sure how she felt about the stranger with the sharp, strong voice. "I am of Fire... Are you of Wind?" He looked a lot like Fang-- a being of Wind and Fire, perhaps he could also Control Fire as Fang had. Her brows knotted over her eyes, a frown settling on her expression as she tried to figure it all out.

"... Does Fang know you're here?" She asked with an edge of urgency as she realized he could be trespassing or something. The rhino didn't get the whole territory thing, but it did stir an instinct in her. One to protect... and Fire was born to fight for her family.

Blinking a few times against the harshness of the wind, he felt a stirring with his stomach as the creature that he harboured within his DNA stirred and he chuffed slightly. All he needed was a victim he could bite and the extortion would simply start there. Just as a cat would, he ran his tongue along his chest to clear it from the gathered dust. Not quite consumed with cleanliness, he did try to look his best when acting professional and he straightened up, his chest poking out slightly in order to exaggerate his position. "I'm Louie. Diamondfang is a friend of mine. We've been in talks about things..."

Nothing had been set in stone, so he wasn't exactly sure how much had been spread among those in the monoceros but he wouldn't elaborate further if she didn't know. Intrigued by the way she introduced herself as "of fire" and Diamondfang as being "of wind" he frowned too. It turned into a frowning match and he wasn't entirely sure how to answer. If it was regarding what magic he dabbled in he wasn't exactly sure how to describe it. "I am of Life. I'm not sure what else it could be described as." Examining the rhino up and down, his serrated teeth showed through his orange fur as it pulled back with his lips.

"You are certainly powerful." Pacing up and down the rock to look her over better, he nodded as he walked and then came to sit. Clicking his tongue, he cast out a particular cloud of micro organisms hoping to at least test this woman's immunity. The way it would be tested was by the counting of bacteria colonies after it had all settled and began multiplying its way across and through her body. "Dia-, Fang," using her abbreviation as formality didn't seem to be working so well, "She knows I'm here. I live up on the Platforms on the other side of the Twister." They weren't really visible from here, but they were there and he was sure that she had spotted them before.

The Fire listened to his voice, soothing and cool and clear between roars of wind. He was easy to hear but less so to understand, and she had to think a long time about what he said. At the very least, he admitted to being a friend of the Queen, which made her rest easy... But what was Life? It wasn't Fire or Water or Air-- but yet it was. He seemed unsure himself, so she simply nodded as if it made perfect sense to make him feel better.

... And then he complimented her. Her eyes went wide, showing the deep blues that were hidden around her large, black pupils. A strange, tingling sensation came over her and she felt a bit... Odd. Like something was wrong, perhaps, like she had eaten something bad. It was a subtle thing, but she didn't like how it made her feel. She sneezed, shaking her head, at least until it made her dizzy. With a huff, she returned her gaze to the fox, processing what he said. He lived here? But she had never seen him?

"Oh, okay," Fire said, slowly standing up. "I just hafta make sure and all. Fang would be mad if someone got up and trespassed, you know?" Louie seemed nice, as far as she could tell. Something about him made her uneasy, but she had started to feel that way about Fang and everyone else as well. Maybe something was just wrong with her.

"You ever go out there?" She asked after a moment, nodding towards the exit-- Tunnel J. She returned her gaze to him, blinking with twitching, twisting ears, trying to fight the strong wind that wanted everything to be leaning to one side.
