Today, a sheep had been born under the name of Timbuktu, which he had named himself after he popped out of his chrysilis. He didn't know why he named himself that but he just liked the name but it was too difficult for him to say, so he decided to come up with an easier name.. Timby, yes he would call himself Timby. He was astonished about this beautiful... whatever it was. He just knew it looked pretty. It was also sort of overwhelming, but mostly beautiful. The place was aligned with precious crystals in fact he felt something strange inside his head. He tapped it and it felt.. hard? Was this a crystal too? It felt powerful, maybe it was magic. He hoped it was!

Actually.. right now he hoped there was food, he felt famished. He went to wander in search of some food. Maybe he could find someone to give him information on the way..

It hadn't been too long that the lion cub, Rhone. She didn't know how it had happened but the little one had started to follow her and the motherly lioness that was nearly three cycles had fell into the roll perfectly. She thought it fine that the young one wanted to come along with her. Makyna enjoyed the company immensely and was always happy to answer questions. When the cub was older she'd also be happy to take her hunting and teach her other things about being a lion. It was like she had a family! If only Leon were here with her... she was sure that he would love the cub but no... She was on her own for now.

Makyna glanced backwards to make sure Rhone was keeping up. She flicked the tuft of her tail enticingly, attempting to give the cub an enticing target to chase while they walked if she so chose to.

As they went on the lioness noticed something in the distance. A fluffy something. Makyna opened her mouth to taste the air on her tongue and found that it was a sheep, a male newborn sheep. Deep in her gut she felt the same urge which lead her to adopt Rhone as she approached the newborn gem.

"Hey there!" She called, friendly as always. "Are you searching for something, little one?" She asked curiously.

The little fennec fox bounced/hopped/skipped along as she scampered around Orion. Her little cherub face was scrunched up in an angelic smile as she dashed forward in spurts, a tan streak of a furball sniffing out the area. She wasn’t a stranger to this tunnel anymore following her quest with the black dog called Void, and so felt strangely comforted under the twinkling of lovely quartz.

Quix attempted to cast her magic to feel if anyone was around. Immediately, the itty bitties appeared before her and she sensed that in the same room as her were gembound itty bitties. There were three clusters, actually. With a yip, she let her furry tail brush by her sides and scampered over to the trio. She met a fluffy ball of wool and two lionesses - one lighter coloured than Usui, and one pale-pink one. She looked at three of them with darting glances and shot a smile at each of them. “Hello! I’m Quix." Then, to the sheep alone, “You’re furry, I like you!” She darted in and out of each of their legs, and attempted to snuggle up to the little sheep, being utterly enthralled by the fluffy poofy wool covering him!

Timby, heard the sound or a.. voice he noticed she asked "Are you searching for something?" He said yes.. actually he realised he couldn't speak! So he just nodded yes. He felt he was going to have to use this head shaking system for some time. He also noticed a smaller being with the big animal. She seemed to be using.. magic! Yes! The crystal in his forehead actually is magical. He wondered what type of spells he could do. But for now, he just walked to the big animal. He wondered if she knew where food was.

Once again he heard a voice this time coming from the tiny one. She seemed to like his fur he couldn't respond to her but even if he could he would probably still be speechless. So he blushed and smiled.

Before they could get very far in their conversation, providing that the little fluff-ball could speak at length they were interrupted. Another fluff-ball, this one small and tawny coated with a familiar gemstone set as horns on her head. Odd... Seeing those horns distinctly reminded her of Cancer and she couldn't help but feel a stab of guilt that she was gone for so long away from him. However, she couldn't bring herself to return. Not when she had yet to find Leon and when she was getting on so well on her own. Besides, there were tons of gembounds to meet and was she really ready to face Cancer right now? She didn't think so.

Not wanting the others to know of her inner thoughts she smiled down at the little fox. "Hello there, Quix. I'm called Makyna Songcat." The lioness couldn't help but gift a soft chuckle as the little one weaved in between the legs of her bigger companions. If that wasn't distinctly feline-like then she didn't know what was. Now that they were all in one spot she tried again. Her clear blue eyes looked to the male fluffy sheep as she said, "So, you are searching for something? What would that be, I wonder?" Most gembounds that first hatched were hungry. Was this what this one wanted? "Are you hungry, little one?" If he was then she'd be perfectly happy with showing him what sheep liked to eat. Then, on impluse even though the fox was a little older she asked, "What about you? Are you hungry too?" If this one knew how to hunt or not was up in the air. Instincts were something that seemed to come naturally to some gems better than others.

One of the animals asked if he was in search of food. He nodded his head eagerly as he was starting to feel famished. Already three animals to accompany him. He wondered if anyone else will join them..

((ooc: sorry for the short post but I figured he probably wouldn't say or one much else.))

The little girl was thrilled as the sheep smiled at her. She yipped excitedly and attempted to nuzzle into his soft, soft wool. The tan lioness spoke then, and asked about hunger. She nodded sagely, for she herself had met with two newborns and both needed to eat. The same had happened to her! She flashed Makyna a toothy, cute grin, glossing over her question of her own hunger. “Hi Makyna! I'm Quix! Quix Karkata!" Then, she scampered to the edges of Orion, hoping to uncover a bug. Her large ears could pick up insects moving on sand – that was how keen her sense of hearing was and now, tuning in to her surroundings, she could hear a distinct rustling of sorts. Immediately, she pounced over and spotted a large, green beetle perched by some stairs. The girl wriggled her butt, and then pounced! She darted forward before the insect could react and within a second, it was within her teeth.

Head held high in delight, Quix trotted back to them and dropped the semi-dead, wriggling beetle at the sheep’s feet. “Eat!” she exclaimed and beckoned towards the beetle with a nod of her head.

So, the little lamb was hungry. That was easy enough to solve. The plants around here stayed still... living prey did not. However, at this point in life Ky was more than able to hunt multiple prey successfully for the young meat eaters. Before she could say much else to the fox, the hyper critter was introducing herself again before scampering away. Karkata? Why did that sound familiar? On impulse she examined the scent of the fox, mouth opening to catch the faint drift of it. Her brow furrowed as she realized that this little one was from Pisces. The group scent of Maji Walezi was strong and she didn't know why she hadn't caught it before, perhaps because she wasn't paying attention to smells. Whatever the case this young Quix didn't know who she was. For now, Makyna would say nothing... not until the moment was ripe.

When the fox scurried back with a bug and tried to offer it to the lamb the lioness gave a laugh and shook her head. "No no no, young one, lambs don't eat bugs. I'll find something, for all of you." Her gaze swept around the assembled young animals, looking over each in turn. "Stay here, I'll be back shortly." With that she turned and bounded away through the reaches of Orion to search for food.

When the lioness returned she had two mice by their tails and a few broad leaves in her jaws. Proudly she walked up to her young charges and deposited the food. "There you are! Enjoy!" The lioness plopped herself down on her belly and began to groom while she waited for the young ones to eat.

Timmy looks at the tiny one while she offers him a bug. Since he was famished he'd take anything as if now. So he picks up the bug and bites it. It seems to feel weird in his mouth. However, he wouldn't want want to spit it out or anything because that would seem.. rude. So he just swallows the bug. It feels very weird in his stomach but nevertheless, he wasn't hungry anymore. He also took this as a sign of friendship from the cub. He tries to express this feeling by finally trying to say something. He says the word with suprising success and tells the small animal "Friend."

The sheep looked at her offering and took it readily, though he didn’t eat it with the gusto she’d expected. He spoke to her then in one syllable. She purred encouragingly at it when he spoke, hoping that he would speak up more! “Yes, friends!” she replied and attempted to cuddle the sheep by pressing against his fur.

At this point, Makyna laughed and said that he did not eat bugs. The girl’s eyes rounded and she looked to the sheep quizzically. “But you ate it,” she spoke questioningly. Before she could get a solid answer though,Makyna had spoken and was gone. Quix sighed and shuffled her paws, then settled down onto the ground.

It did not take long for Makyna to return with the scent of fresh meat. Immediately, Quix scrambled to her paws and tucked into one delicious mice, not hesitating to tear it apart. She chittered to Makyna in thanks as she continued to devour her grub.
