Mevoh was busy eating a lesser gembound Gilded Catsquirrel which she caught successfully on her own. She stripped the meat apart with her beaks piece by piece before eating it. She was a very successful hunter being a secretary bird. Her species were known to be very successful hunters, and the best part, they specialized in snakes. Mevoh may have been a great hunter, but that did not make her life complete. She wanted more. She had heard talk here and there of groups in the caves, but nothing specific. Mevoh wanted a home, a family. Not to wander the caves as a lone gembound forever. She wanted family. But what she had no clue of is that she was on the land of a group already. Edenfolk. But she was completely oblivious.

Sorda flew through Eridanus, looking for building materials- or anything interesting really. Her new group made her nervous in a weird way. She was constantly worried- worried she wouldn't be useful enough, worried she'd get them to do something stupid like with the spire. Worried they just wouldn't like her. Had she always been like this? She didn't remember being like this as a hatchling.

She found nothing useful for building a home, but she did spot a somewhat familiar face- A Secretary Bird she'd encountered briefly once before. "Hey there!" she called, which she immediately regretted- she should just fly back to the group, or look for more materials. "I've seen you before- In Pisces, right?" She gave an awkward smile, "What brings you around here?" She asked curiously.

Mevoh stopped eating as a friendly bird came to greet her. The tall bird smiled down at the shorter bird. Mevoh then spoke glad to have some company. "Hello! Yes, I remember you as well, but forgive me if my mind is hazy on the details. I'm here just enjoying a meal, a Gilded Catsquirrel. But, I am lonely though at the moment. I just... I just wish I could find a group, a place to call home. I want to be a part of something bigger than just roaming these caves on my own. Would you know of such a place?" Mevoh looked hopefully at the bird. But she was not counting on her knowing. Mevoh believed that gembounds where not meant to be alone. But Mevoh hadn't the slightest idea where to find a community to call home.
