Ruby-Beta was in for a rude awakening in the womb: a harried whap! at the head and a shortly huffed "come with me."

Which had brought the two of them to this field of pleasant green. It was open, somewhat flat, and sprawling enough that nothing but the foolhardy would interrupt them. Orthoclase-Alpha sucked air through its teeth (a feat which should be made impossible by the lack of lips) and sniffed. Smells nice echoed around in the relative safety of its head. Nobody'd ever hear those words spoken aloud—you can be sure of that. The kaiju wasn't at all ashamed of the damage that might be close to occurring.

Toxic eyes fixed on its clutchmate's, narrowing only slightly as it finally offered the context that Beta was likely wanting for the past thirty minutes, "Master Vargas says you need sparring practice." A fat tongue swept over its pearly whites, magic puttering through them and forming a rather weak venom. "Don't let me bite you," Alpha grunted with—was that a smirk in its voice?!—a crack of its neck. It squared off. "We stop when you say to."

Three, two, one... "Go."
