Mevoh was in pure shock as her keen eyesight looked upon this new room in the caves. This room was the most regal and elegant place she ever laid eyes on. The star of the place was the palace itself. Mevoh could never stop thinking how beautiful her home, the caves were. The caves were a place of magic and fantasy, a home to be drawn to and proud of. She walked towards the palace eager to see what it had to offer. The bird reached towards a door, which appeared to be magically locked. An idea then popped in Mevoh's mind. If she couldn't open it, could she see the history of the door instead. She pressed her beak to the door and waited. Her magic powerfully rushed through her very being. Suddenly, a vision appeared in Mevoh's mind. Mevoh was entirely unaware that a beast protected this palace. Though Mevoh meant no harm, she was simply curious. Besides, curiosity could lead to anything. Especially in these caves.

If Mevoh believed that a quiet, empty Palace was stunning, then a Palace in its prime was breathtaking:

The massive doors were the most obvious change—they had been moved wide open, hinges made so that they swung into the hallway.

Charming ballroom music and glimmering light radiated from the vast room beyond them. Glitter and streamers lined every possible surface, the hall well-decorated and difficult not to be impressed by.

A veritable menagerie of creatures milled about within, following the rhythm of the song. Some would join hands in dance, and others would circle one another in an almost dangerous pattern. Some were vaguely humanoid, and others were hulking quadrupeds. The occasional smaller, slinking beast would dart to and fro, not speaking or joining the dance.

Any voices that were heard were practically indiscernible, a murmuring just barely audible over the music.

The quietness of the Palace was deafening compared to the vivid memory. A vivid memory which the secretary bird was wholly undisturbed during.
