A small creature had approached her, offering a deal—if Venari could best a powerful being, then she could keep its stone as the prize. That wasn't what sold her, however. Apparently, this being had bested one of her own quarry, one she could not find. A contract she failed to honor, the very reason she had been created... If she could take out the gaseous being in question, then it was like she was fulfilling the original contract still.

Venari accepted. She went to the location of said being and, as suggested, met it with a spark. At first, she thought it was some trick—watching the other disappear in a puff of colorful sparks and smoke, some kind of magic...? But its stone fell gently to the ground, a tiny sliver of chalcedony, which confirmed her kill had been a success. Strange how vulnerable they all could be. She inspected the sliver for a moment, pleased at its high level of magic and pleased with herself for having fulfilled two contracts in one.

She returned to her den and placed the stone high within her walls, next to others she kept in her collection.

Regalia is now deceased, and its stone is in Venari's possession.
