Black City Rewards
Hey Originers!
We'd just like to introduce the rewards that will be granted for completing
[Quest] The Black City: Part III.
First off, players completing the thread will be allowed to choose
one of TWO spells for participating characters that will then be unlocked for everyone! One will be a powerful High-Intensity spell--water-themed and dangerous... The other, for those who maybe aren't magic-based or who'd like something a little...
lighter, will be an aesthetic, low-intensity, Animal-element spell. Both will be based on the themes the Black City offers, and both are based off previous player suggestions!
Second, participating characters will
also be granted two mutations to be applied then and there--but there's a hidden quirk. These mutations will be picked and mixed (by each player!) from characteristics featured by
new Lesser Gembounds that will be fully unlocked--for all the caves--upon completion of the thread! As a little hint, these mutations might include adaptations to live in, or around, the depths of the seas. There's dozens of combinations each character could choose from!
Third, characters will be able to keep whichever enchanted items they utilize for the quest, including those enchanted by the Blacksmith.
Lastly, and of
course most importantly, all participating characters will receive the Black City achievement.
I've mentioned new Lessers--these will be fully unveiled upon Black City completion, unlocked and released throughout the caves. We have a long list of just over a dozen Lessers ready to throw at you and spread through Origin, including deep-water, shallow-water, mollusc-like, and flying ocean-themed Lessers! Origin's Lessers have been sadly lacking in the swimming department, but no more!
Lastly, the Black City will end in a raffle for something very special. This raffle will be open to everyone, participant or no!
