They were gone. The whole kingdom, vanished without a trace. Scratch that, the whole lot of them had been gone for a long time now. Yew wasn't caught off-guard, but... It was lonely. She was lonely. Yew supposed she should leave the forest more, to meet more of the others outside of the place - it was scary, but Yew knew she could do it. Not everyone was bad, not the strange lizard from before, not Mercy, she knew she could make friends.

Yew lowered herself to take a drink from one of the pools below her wolven paws. The water was nice on her dry throat, and her shoulders relaxed as she moved to lie down. The forest was always so pretty - green, full of life. So many lessers called the place home, same with Yew herself.

Eyes close and then open again - maybe a nap would be nice. But out in the open...? It doesn't matter, not really. Yew reaches out a paw in front of her - would the mushrooms live if she put them here? They would look pretty... A strong rush of magic, and then more mushrooms than Yew was used to producing. They were pretty, indeed. Should she make more?

Diot had been exploring more of the caves recently, but today was not one of those days. He was more inclined to rest and relax in the room of Eridanus more often than not. It was of course his home and a territory he knew so well. It was rather relaxing despite the few bitter memories that often told him otherwise. But he was not one to linger on painful memories of those long gone- either in death or... those who abandoned him. In the end he always had the plants- the trees and the lessers that made up the surrounding ecosystem. And in recent cycles he had been finding more and more gembounds to talk to- granted most never stayed too long or were simply on their way elsewhere.

Regardless he was relatively happy making his way through the trees as usual. He often made his journey through the elevated terrain- was safer and he could see most before they saw him. Eyes flickering over various plants he offered aid to them. Only to fail when something- or well someone else caught their eye. He could not make out who or what they were- but they were someone new that was for sure. Brilliant hues and wings along their back-...they...weren't a wolf were they? Well whoever they were they seemed to be alone and out in the open.

Curiosity bubbling he hummed to himself hopping closer through tree branches before calling out in greeting from above. He wanted to get a closer look- who and what were they? Did they need help? Or were they possibly a new friend who was on their way? Regardless of the answers he did take notice to the mushrooms that surrounded them- ah familiar magic! One of life and nature! He was very excited!
