- THE LEVIATHAN -

Vargas watched the dragon go with two disparate emotions, as flat as they were.

The first was disappointment to let its form go--but again, that was no guarantee of the shape of the result, when it came to the clumsy and random-chance reproductive process of Gembounds. The second was vague suspicion; not anything particularly strong, or even out of the ordinary. Rather, it was just a mental note that he'd have to keep his eye on things.

His eyes. Plural, as there were six of them, and all would be keeping watch.

As he turned away, his mind turned to other things. 'Love?' He'd have to find out if it were reciprocated; from Alek's own admission it seemed an unsure thing. He had no intention, really, of interfering, unless it turned out this dragon's presence was unwelcome to V-Onyx-Three. The only other Forge members who'd seemed to develop connections that he'd once had disapproved of had never had it come to much, one way or another, so for now he was simply neutral on that fact.

He'd deal with that part later; for now he'd keep watch on that chrysalis--or rather, the both of them--to discuss this with Onyx-Three as soon as they awoke, if possible.
