Appearance: Fenmyre, from even the time of its emergence, will be a hulking monster of a creature; eventually growing to be ten feet tall at the shoulders, eleven at the top of its head. The shaggy mane draped along most of its dark, leathery coat merely accentuates how large it seems, along with protecting its throat and ruff from teeth and claws striking from below. As massive as it will be, though, Fenmyre is most suited to ambush hunting like its predecessor. It is blind, and too heavy to sustain a chase; so keen ears and crushing jaws compensate.

Appearance: Cavallys is a battering ram and a siege engine: Eight feet tall at its withers, and solidly-muscled with enough endurance to maintain a long charge after both prey and foe. Its body is unarmored for the most part, but its skull is protected with the same mask as its siblings, and its entire dorsal side bristles with brittle, glass-like quills to deter any attackers. Dense spines line its thighs, upper forelimbs, and rump. Sharp hooves and claws do the dirty business that its jagged, regrowing teeth and thick skull do not.

Appearance: V-Chaos-Fourteen is a near-perfect amalgamation of Draconua's lithe, powerful figure and Vargas's lethal dexterity. It is slender and compact, longer than it is tall, with three pairs of limbs; two for walking and two for striking. Long, curved arm-spikes on both pairs of forearms are dense enough to stay in place as it strikes down its enemy, and six hooked claws on each forefoot are as dexterous as they are deadly. Irritating quills guard its undersides, and dense spines protect its top side. Fourteen is the "runt" of its litter, growing to be a "mere" eight feet at its withers.

Appearance: A beast about five feet and a half feet tall at the tallest point. Mottled browns and grays, low-slung and extremely well-muscled, its short and stout limbs armored at their fronts with keratin plates and tipped with enormous, thick claws (the innermost foreclaws being much longer and larger than the rest). The tail is short and stubby. The skull, neck and back are all likewise armored. An armored chest leads to a translucent belly, where both organs and a faint orange glow can be seen. The small eyes (the creature is very nearsighted), nostrils, heat vents at the ribs, and jaws (when open) all likewise glow. This is due to highly acidic blood; Gravedigger is therefore relatively adapted to acid. The massive, modified salivary glands behind immense jaws secrete thick, glowing orange acid used to break down rock. Long feelers help it navigate the dark, as do huge bat ears sensitive to vibration. This creature can consume rock to regrow claws and broken or worn teeth over days.

A number of adoption forms are likely to be posted for this litter, and two of the last three are going to be raffled. As for Gravedigger:

TEMPORARY ADOPTION INFORMATION
Summary: THE GRAVEDIGGER is a Corrupted tunneler-beast who can be adopted, and roleplayed, for four months before Lord Dhracia removes it from the caves.

- The Gravedigger (V-Chaos-Fifteen) is powerful: five feet tall with strong muscles, acid saliva, and offensive and defensive abilities, so it'll need to be roleplayed with responsible attention to its power level. It can have any personality you like, any/no gender, etc; however, chaos magic will render it prone to chaotic temperament. This doesn't mean it needs to be sadistic or evil, but that it will not be secretly gentle and reluctant, etc., within reason.

- You MUST be active with this character. The character will be re-adopted out if it hasn't been in at least 2 threads/cycle and made progress on at least some rolls (as long as it's active, that's fine, I'll be lenient--but these characters are plot-centric and need to be active).

- The Gravedigger is likely to be trained as a siege weapon, ex. taught to tunnel up beneath enemies or to destroy fortifications from beneath. This character's starting spell will be Defiled Earth. Aside from that, the player can choose what it learns, and whether it chooses Physical, Strategic, or Magical-based combat. It could use its magic only to bolster physical destruction, or rely on corruption as its main force of damage. It will be trained by either NPCs, Chaos Forge characters, or both.

- As per the Foster-a-Monster program, The Gravedigger will be removed from the caves at adulthood--but will still be alive off-screen, and has potential roleplay ability in Elsewhere threads after that. Magicka spent cannot be regained, but I'd ask that anyone adopting do try to treat them like a "real" character in terms of progression and spells/techniques/tactics, instead of deliberately avoiding spending magicka on them.

- As per the same program, death is possible, but reliant on player behavior. Unless it does something amazingly stupid, uncontrollable or perceived as "weak" it is highly unlikely to die in its first four cycles. Death is far more likely in Elsewhere.

Anyone may apply to roleplay this character, as long as you have not already taken a temporary adopt from the "Foster-A-Monster program."

Raffle Valkhound 1 - Virosa, the Black Tangle

Virosa, The Black Tangle (potentially also known as V-Chaos-Sixteen) is a creature like a horrific, skeletal stag-beast that stands about 12 feet tall. It's thin and rangy, with long digits, a very narrow ribcage and slender limbs. A long tail ends in a tuft, and a mane shrouds neck and shoulders. Forward-curving antlers are dark brown/black tipped in red, and the eyes in a skeletal-looking face glow dull red. This character will begin with the spell Malevolent Growth. It was designed by the Masters with the intention of it using this spell, and possibly other abilities that it gains, to corrupt the areas that Order might otherwise infest with fungus, preventing and destroying Order's spread.

Raffle Valkhound 2 - Valethyr, the Absolver

Valethyr, the Absolver (potentially also known as V-Chaos-Seventeen) will stand six feet at the shoulder, and bear six sets of limbs: wings and four legs. Its feathers, though Valethyr is solidly black, have an oily iridescence. The mask-like feature on its face is set above the real maw, and a ring of thick bone creates a halo. The entire creature is poisonous to the touch. In particular, Valethyr will be created with the ability to corrupt Clearstone characters using the Give Life spell. This will require an immobilized target, but allows it to essentially remake an Order/Hive character in a Corrupted form. As this is an extremely powerful ability, we'd like to note two things: first, it may only be used with advance permission from the other character's player, and second, if a player does not wish the effects, the attack can fail (and will be removed on use, either way). (This replaces the Clearstone with Oilstone!)

Fenmyre, Cavallys and V-Chaos-Fourteen will be up for a more traditional form of adoption. These Hounds come with plot on their own— as they are the result of a wager between Vargas and Draconua— but they will not be as closely-monitored OOC for activity as the Gravedigger.

As they will be interacting with Draconua often, applicants for Fenmyre and Cavallys should be prepared for potentially stronger themes of violence and endangerment than the usual for the Chaos Forge.

Character Idea: at its heart, a people-pleaser with mommy issues who wants to be mommy's favourite child. elects to achieve this through sheer brutal violence like a cat bringing dead mice to its owner, but infinitely worse. fenmyre would start with forsaken mind and be inflicted with little murmurings and hallucinations that it just simply isn't good enough. it will probably be a chaos brute like draconua, because it wants to be just like mommy so so so bad, though it could also be convinced to go down champion. it has a distinct spite for its other siblings and would often get into fights with them, verbal and physical.

i was thinking about it and i think it might be interesting to have this fenmyre find validation in the hive-- i dont know if mother would bother with something corrupted or if she could even do anything with it but it might be fun to have a corrupted character just fully turn to order. i think it could also fix fenmyre to get a New Better Mommy (assuming draconua is just worlds worst mother)

Character Idea: Just your average girl. Smiles. In truth, something that emulates Draconua to a fault, letting chaos reign in its interactions with its parent. It thinks way too much of itself, to the point of trying to "lord" over people because of its ego, using its body as brute force to get its way.

In the end, it's a bit of a petulant child, throwing tantrums when it doesn't get what it wants. "Ohh, it's my birthday why would you hit me" when it gets in trouble, just disregarding punishments unless the law's very forcibly impressed upon it. It needs to learn that there are usually consequences to its actions. The only gembound it marginally respects is Draconua and anyone who has the strength to wound it immensely.

It enjoys leaving wounds without fully throwing someone into their chrysalis. The only reason it'd do that if its life were truly in danger, and with its self-confidence it doesn't particularly feel like doing that. If it had the capability, it'd heal others just so it could keep being rough with its toys. Fun girl summer :)
