Azrael managed to scramble out of the direct line of impact, leaving that for Audland to take. Fortunately, Audland was built for that sort of thing, and his fluffiness guarded him well. Though the impact did hit his chin and that sucked. Rang up though his skull a bit and made him dizzy. Not horribly dizzy. Not too dizzy to act.

How pissed off would this guy be if Audland didn't even bother to try getting back up? They were both on the floor now, and Audland wasn't allowed to hurt him for real. Occam's razor: sometimes the simplest solution is best. Rule of funny: do it if it makes you laugh. Audland doesn't know about either official philosophy but his heart and mind are guided towards them anyways.

What do you do when a sexy demon man weasels himself out of your grasp and causes you to miss your first chance to smother him with your walrus-esque mass? The simplest answer I or Audland can present: roll over, and try again.

How ridiculous this situation was for Azrael, half-crushed on the ground, with a giant blue Thing about to roll over on top of him, furious that this battle was going the way that it was, although he supposed this was a pretty literal definition of "wrestling". At least Audland was putting up a fight, even if it really felt like he was barely trying.

Azrael imagined a better alternative, where they were allowed to go all out, where he wasn't limited just to claws and fists. This one wouldn't stand a chance.

But this was the here and now, and he had a fight to win. All four arms struggled to get a grip under Audland's weight, pressed up against his massive body as they were. His legs struggled as well to get good leverage, but just as the valkhound began to roll over him like a truck, Azrael was ready.

Using his own momentum against him, Azrael shoved hard, not only letting him fully roll over him, but roll all the way over. It was a close thing, as that was a lot of weight on top of him. There was a muffled sound beneath Audland as he roared with the effort.

Azrael's roar was met with jovial belly laughter from his mini mammoth-sized opponent. The uneven rumbling from up on high might have made the process of removing Audland even more strenuous for Azrael. But, to his credit, the demon did manage. With a bit of a surprised yelp, Audland was tossed over, now left with his belly to the floor, and still laughing heartily. By the time he was done, the grin hadn't let his face. "Heheheh. How'dja like that, eh? I hope it was," a breath in as Audland stabilizes himself and begins to rise, "precisely the opposite of satis-factory." Big words do not suit Audland's demeanor. He's not some pansy nerd, unlike some people. When he elevates his vocabulary, he is sure to make his tone entirely unserious, as though he's making fun of the words themselves by using them.

Dusting his paws together and then (uselessly) wiping around the rest of his fur, Audland has successfully made it off the floor. He does not offer Azrael a hand, nor does he ask for one. He does, for a moment, stare down at the other man. Audland's expression is illegible, but there is a glint of something in his set of yellow eyes. They flicker and flit around Azrael's visage, perhaps tracing something, almost like Azrael is a book to be read. Once Audland has found whatever it is he's looking for, the blue Valkhound seems to zone back in and just unceremoniously blurts out: "You'da looked better crushed, babycakes." Without waiting for a response, Audland abruptly turns away.

"Welp! That's all fer me. See ya never, doll-face!" He calls back to Azrael, now loud enough (in contrast to moments before) that Azrael most likely could hear from afar, as well as the rest of the arena.

As soon as Audland was off of him and the match was being called, Azrael was pushing himself back to his feet, feeling sore all over from the weight and incredibly undignified after that...display. He glared at his opponent, a heavy dislike settling in his stomach. He had been hoping for a good match but it had been, as Audland was chuckling to him, incredibly unsatisfactory.

He snorted. What a child. Azrael may be a beast, but he was a carefully controlled one. Chaos holding its own leash. He said nothing to Audland, not dignifying his petty calls with a response, simply lifting his head and turning his back on the valkhound just as he turned his back on Azrael.

He flexed his muscles, still furious at the namecalling and unsatisfactory fight and the pitiful attempts to goad him into a frenzy. They needed to ban kids from these kind of events or something.
