Our posting contest has ended, and we would like to extend a huge congratulations to everybody who participated! We are so impressed with the level of posting that this contest has sparked, and we loved reaching each thread (especially the ones with autumn-themed titles)! Now, you're probably wondering just who managed to snag 2nd and 3rd places, and who the lucky duck was that secured 1st place and that ever elusive Rare Character Slot, eh...?Congratulations, Shafaer for winning 1st Place with 153 posts! Scavenger Hunt End
Our scavenger hunt has ended, and it looks like most of our active userbase has managed to locate all the deer herds! Congrats, guys! (If you didn't, Deer Dad will accept some late answers until the 20th, and he'll probably go ahead and give you some hints too!) Thus closes our two currently running contests, however, it seems like something new's on the horizon...Origin Cave Triathlon!
You asked for it, so here it is! Origin Cave is having a triathlon of contests that will run from now until the end of September (and a little bit into October). And since you guys specifically asked for something that wasn't a posting contest, the staff are happy to announce that these definitely are not posting contests (well, one of them kind of is, sorry). Members are free to participate in all or none of the contests listed below - its entirely optional - but each contest will have its own prizes for the winners!Show Us Some Skin! - Whip up some lovely banners for the skin contest, the winners will be made into official Origin skins!
We Heard You Like Lore - So apparently you guys like writing stories, and thats fine by us! Write a story about one of the rooms of tunnels in Origin Cave for some sweet, sweet magicka!
Why Can't We Be Friends? - Match up with a partner in this thread contest and complete your task as fast as possible!

Maintenance
Not so much a reminder as a notification: dead characters will no longer rise from the afterlife and be placed in the Inactive group after 30 days. They will remain dead in their cold, lonely graves. However, you can now see them listed in the account list.

At the bottom of the index in our affiliates section we have a button for Animus Top 50. If you'd like to help out raising awareness about Origin, you can click that button and vote for us! Of course this isn't necessary, only a small favor to Origin should you choose to do it.

Nevermind Yesterday
After Cancer grievously wounds himself, Amaria and Bevy come to his aid. Bevy attempts to heal him as Amaria and Cancer share a tender moment, resulting in Amaria accidentally cleaving off a chunk of her stone.
Only in memory...
Amaria makes the terrible mistake of stumbling into Polaris only a day before the fight is slated to begin, and meets her untimely demise at the jaws of the chaos beast.
Quest: The Fiery Pit P4
The fight against Raheerah has begun! Can the Gembounds defeat the massive chaos beast?
rain, rain
A young Gembound hatches during the fight against Raheerah, forcing a few of the Gembounds to break away from the dragon to save her. Will they be able to make it out of Polaris alright, or will they get scorched for their efforts?
Quest: O Eyes, What Do You See?
A mysterious shriek shakes Eridanus, alerting the Gembounds to the cries of the blinded Eyes.
We All Fall Down
Louie has created a rift between himself and the Merrymen after taking Baratheon and Booker prisoner. They set off towards Eridanus with Louie promising to heal Booker once they get there, but will the half-face fox keep his word?
