Foreward dated a bit to after when arkrael tells xerxes that cure is in canis
Almost there. almost there! he was so close! Cure would be here in canis, arkrael told him and also gave him directions to get there. It was confusing, but finally he could tell he was getting close. He could pick up on cures scent in the cave he was nearing, but he still had some walking time to do. He debated on a nap, the young gembound being tired from his long journey from eridanus to here.
It actually sounded better the longer he thought about it, so the boy decided to rest his legs before going tonfind cure in canis. He yawned, though he refused to nap. He was just going to rest and before long hed be up and moving again, ready to see cure.

@raziel
Raz didn’t give a shit why there was someone else in this tunnel with him. He just gave the older Gembound a wide berth. He’d very quickly come to the conclusion that other Gembounds were stupid and not worthy of his time. He wasn’t completely batshit, though. There was no reason to start a fight with a non-aggressive Gembound. Unless, of course, they pissed him off – which could be for any number of reasons: Talking, breathing too loud, getting too close to him, looking at him… But, you know, other than that, they were fine. So basically, as long as this lion thing who had horns like him just didn’t move and stayed where he was, then the wolverine would leave him alone.
But this is a fight thread, so that’s not gonna happen…
@Xerxes
WELP, so much for this Gembound being left alone. It seemed the lion wanted to pick a fight with Raziel. Well, if you messed with the
bull wolverine, you got the horns! Or… in this case, you got a face-full of super-heated air. The second the lion let noise escape his throat, Raz changed direction and spun towards him. He marched right up to him, with long, purposeful strides and shouted,
“DO I LOOK LIKE I KNOW WHERE THE F*CK I’M GOING?” As he expelled word-vomit on the Gembound he also attempted to access his Magicka. Some new power seemed to want to come out, but with his luck, it would probably end up failing miserably...
Round: 1/5
Attempt: Raz attempts to send super-heated air into Xerxes' face while shouting at him. Not enough power in this spell to BURN him, but enough to make him back up away from the "ow, hot".
Defenses: None.
Injuries: Stomped tail from previous fight with cave deer.
@Xerxes
He didnt even get two words out before this... Thing started charging at him spewing words he didnt even have time to process. He pulled his head back and his ears flattened as he lifted himself to a sit and leabed back, one paw on the ground while the other raised in a defensive curl. His eyes widened, but suddenly, he felt angry.
hey! he snapped, unfamiliar with cuss words unlike this heathen. The defensive paw, also his right paw, suddenly pulled back offensively and aimed for his face to swipe. How dare this thing attack him for asking such a simple question! He didnt have to attack him for it! How rude!

Round 1 / 5
Attacks - swiping at raziels face
Defenses - not really, just kinda leaning back
Injuries - feelings hurt :c
@raziel
Oh-hoh! So this little shit wanted to fight back, did he? Well GOOD! Maybe Raz would teach him some respect. You know, like if a particularly angry-looking Gembound is striding down a tunnel, maybe it would be better not to approach them. Raz felt the lion’s claws graze his snout just as he reared back, and he growled low in his throat from pain and annoyance. Then he immediately shot out his own bear-like paw at the boy’s face.
“I can smack people, too!” he yelled. Except half the time his attacks failed, so, we’ll see.
Round: 2/5
Attempt: Raziel attempts to smack Xerxes back, in the face!
Defenses: None
Injuries: Sore tail, lightly scratched muzzle.
@Xerxes
His swipe was returned with a slightly weaker one, leaving the felid with a small cut on his nose! Ouch! Xerxes was real angry now! He growled and tucked his chin, protecting his throat while aiming his horns in the wolverines direction. He would attempt to headbutt the heathen then, hoping to make contact but because of his anger, he didnt take their size difference into consideration.

Round 2 / 5
Attacks - headbutt!
Defenses - chin tucked
Injuries - feelings hurt :c & small cut on end of nose, bleeding but hardly
@raziel
Raziel didn’t know what the hell the lion had been hoping to accomplish when his head-butt went right over the wolverine’s head… But it left him potentially open for an attack. Which, you know, that was always good. This lion was an idiot, anyways. Who doesn’t know how to head-butt someone? Like, really? With a snarl, and no worries for his own safety,
Raz lunged forward and attempted to bite the stupid lion’s front left leg. Raz was smaller than this guy, so if he could get him to fall, that would be good. Then maybe he could bite his face next. Or something.
Round: 3/5
Attempt: Raz attempts to bite Xerxes' left front leg.
Defenses: None
Injuries: Sore tail, lightly scratched muzzle.
@Xerxes
...well that didnt work. Xerxes was clearly too tall to headbutt the smaller gembound, so it really did pay off to think before he acted. He'd remember that next time... But then he felt teeth on his left foreleg and he snarled as he looked down at the beast, naturally tucking his chin because of the angle. His other paw, the right one, lifted up in hopes of stomping the smoll heathens head and forcing his face into the dirt.

Round 3 / 5
Attacks - stomp top of smoll heathens head with right foreleg
Defenses - chin tucked
Injuries - feelings hurt :c, small cut on end of nose - bleeding but hardly, minor bite wound to left foreleg - hardly bleeding.
@raziel
Raz saw the lion’s paw coming a mile away, and dodged it easily, throwing his body to the side and bruising himself in the process. But this was a fight! So what did some bruising matter, anyways? They were both gonna be hurt by the end of this, right? From his new vantage point, lying on his side with his paws facing his opponent, the wolverine attempted to latch his front paws around one of the lion’s legs and yank it, trying to throw him off balance again. The last attempt hadn’t really worked, and Raz was determined to get this overgrown Gembound down to his size a little, if he could.
