With a sniff, the hybrid leaned close to the water's edge, craning his neck far as he could to take in as much as he could about it. The glassy, rippling surface presented a face staring back at him, which took him by surprise. He spotted the hybrid's angular snout and a pair of cobalt eyes that stared curiously back up at him, and he chattered quietly, recoiling at first. Then he leaned closer. And closer... And closer... And beside him, his brother suddenly touched the water and complained about its coldness, but Saosin had never really noticed the icy temperature. He wriggled his long ears and snapped his gaze to Khoridai, inspecting his brother in case the cold had hurt him, but it looked like he was fine. Saosin watched further, observing his brother dip his leg all the way in. He was barely aware of their father fishing - he was wholly enraptured by the water now.
The child rumbled and turned his sights back to the water in front of him. He inched forward, his long tail vying to twitch behind him, but those canine instincts were thwarted when his tail proved too heavy for such a light and idle movement. He leaned his head close, stretched one arm, touched the water. Just barely a graze across the surface. His eyes were wide as saucers, and he drank in the sensation of the gentle coolness against the tips of his fingers.
Further in he plunged his hand until it was completely immersed, and the whole time he was entrenched in the feeling, relishing it. It was cold and soothing and strange, and he looked to Damian and Khoridai as if imploring them to share his experience or explain it or something. Then back to the water, just in time for some small bubble in the current to pop on his arm and climb to the surface with a small splash. He tested this too, jerking his arm to make it splash, and then casting a mischievous look to his brother. Saosin smacked the water, splashing it at his sibling with a playful laugh.
@Khoridai
Khoridai had been paying particular attention to his brother. If only for the opportunity to watch exactly what he was going to do, but when his father suddenly snatched something from the water his attention was quickly pulled away. His eyes went wide when he watched the fish be tossed back behind Damian and got the idea to go look at it. His eyes went from Damian's concentrated face, then back to the fish, only to go right back to Damian. Just as he turned to look at his brother as if to question him a sudden wave of water struck him
A cry of surprise escaped the dragon wolf pup before laughter erupted from the hybrid. Quickly he returned the favor, slapping his paw at the water and sending it flying right for his brother, but he didn't waste time. If his brother wanted to play then they would play! Quickly Khori turned around and lowered his front half while his back half was up and wiggling in the air as if he were preparing for a pounce!
With a playful battle cry, Khori made his move. He pounced on his brother and hopefully managed to land on him. After doing so he would try to nip and bite playfully at Saosin, wrestling him until Saosin either wrestled back or gave in. Either way, this new game was all the distraction he needed to forget his hunger.

His brother didn't hesitate to slap water back at him, causing Saosin to burst out in a snort of giggles as he fiddled with the surface of the river still. Droplets of water had splashed towards him, running through his sleek, short hair, feeling cold on his skin. Cold and alive. He liked the wet feeling, and instinct begged for him to plunge into the icy river, but then he was distracted by his brother's antics. He had turned to him and dropped his front half, his hind end wriggling back and forth like an excited puppy. Saosin blinked and stared with his bright blue eyes, for a second dumbfounded before his own canine instincts kicked in, informing him that this was a type of play. The hybrid scoffed and returned his paws to the ground, patting them in the dust while he tried to mimic his brother.
Only it didn't turn out as elegant as he'd hoped. His front half was too bulky and he crouched on the ground while his heavy rear end struggled to elevate higher than a few inches. He gave his butt a wriggle, only for his long tail to flop uselessly behind him. He frowned and spent a quick glance over his shoulder, but ultimately decided it didn't matter. He was gonna play no matter how silly he looked! And it came with fair warning, and Saosin still failed to move out of the way, resulting in the big wolfy noodle to land on him. Saosin growled and rolled over onto his back, pushing at his brother and pawing at his face in an attempt to displace the noodle.
@Khoridai
Laughter spilled from Khoridai as he wrestled against his brother. Using his own paws to fight at Saosin's own swiping paws that were pushing against his face and neck. "I gon' win! I gon' win!" He exclaimed playfully as his little wings fluttered in his excitement. He desperately tried to stay in his place as he struggled against Saosin's pushing paws. Quickly he took little playful nips and bites at said paws before he tried to get in a playful nip at Saosin's nose. His body wiggled as he continued to laugh and giggle with mirth. It wasn't until large paws suddenly wrapped around him once again did he yelp in surprise.
His head swung around and up towards the smiling lycanthrope who was tugging him right off his brother. "Heeey! was winning!" He huffed and snorted, lashing his tail about. His only response was a laugh before he was settled down in front of an unmoving fish. His eyes went wide as his neck stretched out to get his nose close to sniff at it. "Wha's dis?!" He asked eagerly before he tentatively ran his tongue along it.
'It eat,' His father's voice filled his big fluffy ears. Khoridai passed him one more glance and found that he had relocated Saosin to his own fish as well. With one big grin he took no more hesitation before he sunk his baby fangs right into the fish's hide and began to eat his first meal.

Saosin scowled loudly, crying out in protest as he failed to dislodge his brother. He certainly was big and fat and heavy, and Saosin wasn't as mobile on land as he might have been in water. His tail was too heavy for him to throw it defensively at the noodle and his arms couldn't reach as far as he'd like them to, not to mention that his hind legs were pathetically squat. He batted and pushed at Khoridai, frowning.
"No you not!! I beat you!!" He insisted, and with it a promise - he
would defeat his brother. No way was he gonna be a push over and let the noodle win!! He wanted to be stronger and he definitely wanted to impress their father!
Before Saosin could redeem himself, a great big paw had reached down and plucked Khoridai from him, both relieving him from the weight of his brother and eternally frustrating him. No!! Redemption was lost! Now how was he going to win?!
"Wait I'm not done yet!!!" Saosin yelled, reaching for his brother as if to pull him
back onto the hybrid, but to no avail. Khoridai was delivered to a fish on the ground, and then Damian grabbed him and relocated him as well, much to Saosin's great struggle. He grunted and growled, high energy begging him to keep fighting, until Damian settled him down in front of a fish with a single instruction: eat.
He blinked dumbly at the fish, looked to Damian, then to Khoridai and noted that his brother was tearing it apart with his teeth and swallowing the chunks. Eating. Wait, he wanted to do that too!! He wanted to do it BETTER!! Saosin chuffed and leaned forward, sniffing the fish. It smelled kinda like the water. Regardless of whatever the smell was, it made his stomach rumble and he followed instinct, chomping down on the fish. He relished the taste of its coppery flesh, and once he had a taste for it he couldn't be stopped. The boy chattered his quiet pleasure and tore voraciously into the fish.
@Khoridai (wanna end this soon?)
Ending thread~ It will bee crappy and smol too. :C
Khoridai huffed and snorted as he continued to munch on the fish. His eyes had lifted only momentarily to see if his brother was eating his own fish and when he did. Happily his tail swayed back and forth behind him and before he knew it most of his fish was eaten. He nearly whined and turned greedy eyes to his father who only grinned down at him. "Another! Pllleeeeaaaaassseee" He gave the biggest grin he could muster as he sat back on his hind legs, reaching his pawed hands out as if to make a grab for his father....

A deep laugh escaped Damian as his first born son eagerly asked for more. Slowly the lycanthrope nodded his head before turning his gaze to Saosin, questioning him if he would like some more. Either way, if saosin didn't Damian figureed he would just catch extra fish anyway so the boys could eat to their hearts content and Damian could just eat what was left. With that in mind the beast rose to his paws and moved back over to the river and began fishing once again.
