ORIGIN - Snow White Fuzzball Arrives

In a American Blue Topaz, lived a white beauty that was quiet and calm. No one knew what is in the gem but they soon would find out. The little one inside the gembound moved around kicking slightly making the gem that it was in move some. One big kick and [i]BOOM[/] the stone broke open. The sound could be heard through all of Canis which meant other gembounds would be coming soon enough. There laying on the floor covered in slime from her gem laying in between the two halves was a little snow white fuzzball of a lion cub. She lifted her head and looked around. Her blue eyes scanning all around for any danger. She got up and started wandering out not knowing of the dangerous that lie ahead.

It had been a slow day for the aging lion teen, his mane askew from a recent nap he just woke up from. In fact, it was a loud cracking sound that woke him up. Once he realized it, he jumped up and wandered towards the sound. It sounded familiar... Like when he hatched!

Xerxes trotted over to the pale white feline who was already up and on her feet. Wow! He couldnt even walk that well when he had first hatched. He lowered his rump to the ground and sat, a small smile curling his lips up as his tail curled and uncurled behind him.

"Hello! Do you have a name? My name is Xerxes!" he said to the little cub, not yet seeing the similarity in species. He was excited to witness a gembounds hatching, even if he didnt actually see it. Just being the first one they meet was awesome enough!

Lotus stopped which caused he to fall to the ground. She looked at the big feline gembound and tried hissing but only a spat came from her mouth. She didnt know this big cat and she was scared but shy. Her gem stone poked out of her skull and flesh but only 1-2 inches stuck out. She tried to stand up but being scared her feet didnt want to cooperate with her wanting to move. She looked around scared and let out a lion cub mew. "No hurt meh...meh Lotus." she said. She moved her front paw to swat at the air. She didnt know if she could trust the large gembound or if the black gembound was safe to be around. Lotus was a curious girl but being shy and scared right now didnt show her curious self just a feared baby.

With a slow day, came the days of great naps. Where Xerxes had just left lay another feline curled up and fast asleep. Her dreams were warm and content, leaving her almost purring in her sleep. However, when the warmth beside her suddenly shifted and a cold draft swept over her the hybrid leopard shivered. Slowly she stirred and gave a sudden stretch as she lay on her side. Sapphire eyes opened to look at where Xerxes should have been, but the feline was gone. Cure sat up and flicked her ears around as if to see if she could hear him, but soon found the sound of not just his voice, but another voice.

A yawn gripped hold of Cure, but she brought herself up to her paws anyway and gave her body a good shake to try and wake it up a bit better. It was too bad also, for the dream she was having was rather nice. A grin spread across her features before the fully grown leopard hybrid made her way after the lion friend of hers. It wasn't long before she found him sitting before ea little thing. A new cub it seemed and a deep hum reverberated within her chest. "I see you found a cub," She hummed as she plopped right back down next to the growing lion, her shoulder gently bumping against his as she flicked her tail about.

She smiled down at the snow white cub. It was always fun to meet gembounds just as they hatched from their Chrysalis. It's where she had found Xerxes the day he hatched. Quietly she wondered just what this little cub would be. Slowly she lowered herself down, so that she would be at a closer eye level with the cub, and gave the little cub a grin. "No one is going to hurt you, Lotus. It's nice to meet you, My name is Cure," She glanced to Xerxes then, wondering if she should introduce him for him, but decided maybe he would want to introduce himself seeing as he was here before her. She didn't want to take this excitement away from him. She knew how thrilling it was to watch someone hatch.

Lotus looked as another big feline showed up and sat next to the first Feline there. The second gembund got to her level which seemed to calm the little girl down some. She heard the woman explain that no one gonna hurt and that her name was Cure. Lotus remember that the other one was named Xerxes and he was smaller than Cure. She started sniffing the air causing her to make a face(Stink -face as I call it) and noticed that they werent dangerous at all to her. She fumbled her way over to cure and nuzzled her head under Cure's chin letting out a lion cub mew.

Xerxes frowned at the kitten as she struggled and hissed at him. He didn't mean to scare the little girl, but he supposed his black pelt and red horns could be kind of scary. He was about to speak when Cure showed up at his side and momentarily distracted him. He hadn't meant to wake the older girl, so he felt a little bad on top of what he already felt.

Cure lowered to the girls level and Lotus seemed to like it, nuzzling close to her. Cure was a friendly feline, but she had horns and was black too! Why was Lotus not afraid of her too? A frown pulled at the corners of the boys mouth, but he didnt say anything. Instead, he rose and walked slowly towards the pair and laid down at Cures side. Hopefully the kitten wouldn't run away...

Lotus stopped nuzzling Cure and looked at the other Feline. She fumble as she walked towards Xerxes and nuzzled his leg. That was they thing about Lotus, if she met new gembounds and they didnt seem deadly to her then she would warm up to them quickly. This was what was happening now. She warmed up to Cure and Xerxes very quick and calmly. She felt bad for hissing at Xerxes but it was only cause she was alone for a second and then BOOM there was a big feline that showed up. trusting other gembounds was what the little girl was going to do. Lotus wasnt always going to be a scaredy cat. She intended on being a strong protective and feisty African Lioness.

Cure grinned when Xerxes said nothing, but rather came and laid down beside her so the kitten would hopefully warm up to him. And as she had expected the cub had moved over to Xerxes and began to nuzzle against him. She rested her chin upon her front legs as she flicked her tail back and forth behind her. "She may get hungry soon. Want me to go catch something while you look after her?" She teased Xerxes as she rolled to her side just a bit and playfully swatted at his garnet horn closest to her. If he wanted to watch after her that was fine by cure. After all he was the one who found her first. Though, if he wanted to go hunt something down for her that would be okay too.

The snow white cub was happy to have been found by not one but by two felines. as Lotus nuzzled Xerxes, Cure's tail caught her somewhat good eye sight as it flicked and she stopped to watch it. Lotus wanted to play with it and she moved closer to it. She went to bat at it as Cure talked about Lotus getting hungry soon. The little cub was kind of hungry but not to much. She went over to cure and tried climbing on her side as she batted at Xerxes horn. Lotus sat on her but next to the female feline's side and looked up at the male feline. She barely could see the horns but she did see the tips. Her small size tried swatting at the tip but couldnt reach it.

hey so lets do a post order. Instead of posting between us, lets post in this order - lotus, xerxes, cure. Then when cure posts, lotus can post again!

The kitten sure did have a change of heart really quick. One minute she was afraid of him and now she was batting at his horn! It was kind of annoying, but he stopped himself from swatting at the kitten and turned his attention to Cure. Sure, or I can since you're a bit tied up. He chuckled at his older friend, standing and taking a step away from Cure and Lotus to avoid further swatting from the kitten. Unless you want to, then by all means. He added, not wanting to make it sound like he didn't want to hang out with the kid - he was just a little awkward around them, being a kid himself still. He silently hoped Cure would stick around, knowing she could entertain the kitten whereas he'd probably bore her to death...
