ORIGIN

Albeon honestly feels just down & drained right now, most likely from the vision he had. ...Really why won't it just go away from his mind? He can't even sleep now, it comes back to him in his dreams... Is there a Spell that can modify his memories in any shape or form, does any kind of Spell like that, that actually exists? Because he might actually not feel so bitter with this world if something like it exists, he really needs it if he were to get anywhere, he just wants to forget... It's taken so much of his head, that he doesn't even remember what his plans were after his leg was healed with the help of Baratheon, Albeon thinks he was offered something by the dragon, but he wanted to look for something first. Whatever it was, it involved him going to different parts of the caves to check them out, even though he really wasn't too concerned for adventuring, so he really doesn't know the reason for it. He was at first targetting ones he hadn't checked yet, till that vision happened in Polaris, then he started to just go back to places where he'd visited before since he was looking around blindly. Considered blindly since he doesn't know why he originally was doing it. Why should he care? Even though he does care, but he thinks he shouldn't, being so preoccupied with this nonsense in a world that allows that sort of bloodbath wars...

...He's doing it again, letting that vision go through his head again, when he wants to forget. Some may say to remember and to draw strength from it, while yes it sounds nice, but that's just so toxic and cruel to say to ones who went through trauma, imagine telling something like that to someone who actually experienced something like that in reality, not in a vision... Back to the original thing at hand, since he can't recall what it was he wanted to look for, he decided to just come back to Eridanus, the place where this now forgotten plan started, perhaps let it preoccupy his head if he remembers, and let it take over his head till that vision finally goes away. Perhaps he can remember if he comes back over here. He wonders though if he just said this supposed search of his as an excuse to go off on his own for a bit, to improve his Magick independently and secretly, so that way he could come back to impress the ones in here he met by showing off all these improvements in spite of being such a young Gembound.

Well he definitely has improved now. He may as well be a young prodigy! Right on Albeon, keep on thinking stuff like this too, you could actually forget that horrible vision! Still... He doubts he'd say he's looking for something, he'd love to secretly show his new skills as a surprise, but he's no chiselling liar either, he hates lies, doubts he'll be good at them anyway. Perhaps if he can find familar faces, he could remember what he was doing originally. Perhaps he can lure attention over if he tries a Spell... He sees one of the many trees that are in the caves... a Pucker Tree he thinks. Hn, perfect... Flying up to the tree, his scarf is rustling from the wind behind in, the end of it especially so, looking almost like it was his own ponytail, to a branch on it that has more than one of it's fruits on it concentrating his Magick, feeling the power surged through him, which is now more suppressed and focused from his training, so he has a better handle of it now, the target being a slight aspect at the end of the branch, where it is physically connected to the tree. Full on intention to tear that branch off the tree, and that's what he shall do!

The branch started to tear off a bit, bit it seems he should've just concentrated on the whole branch. Albeon is flying too fast for it to come to a stop, he must pull that branch off before he reaches it! Or he'll have no choice but to pass it, break concentration and having no choice but to try again. Come on, concentrating Telekinesis on a spot of the branch that's still attached to the tree and tries to pull it off as he gets even closer to the tree... The moment he passed is also the same time the branch as a close call came off. Yes! And now the branch filled with fruit is floating alongside the flying corvid, he loves this Spell!

From his birthing place he'd wandered considerably, especially for someone still as young as he was and actually... as lazy as he was, it was an accomplishment. He hop walked part of the way and would intermittently stop to take a break and recline on his side before wandering, and wandering... and wandering. He had no particular destination in mind, he was just going where his legs lead him. Eventually they took him to a fantastic room full of dense vegetation. Now, this was his style! His wide turquoise eyes stared about the room in awe at all of the plant life... Before he stopped to lie down and rest.

After a couple of hours of taking a nap he was up again with an intent in his... What was that intent? To sample all of this fine food, of course. He took leaves, and grasses, and berries, and anything he could get his claws on. He continued on in this fashion until he made it to a tall tree. There was very... interesting, smelling fruit at the top. He wondered if he could kick it and make the fruit fall? He attempted as much but he was far too tiny to make even a dent in the wide thing so he just left it be for now and lay down beneath it, eyes half-closing as he began to rest again. Completely oblivious was he to the creature flying about above him. In fact, he couldn't even bring himself to care at the flapping sound, nor the sound of a breaking branch... So long as it didn't hit him he was as right as rain.

Flying with his collected prize psychologically flying alongside him he made a few circles in flight in celebration of this improved capabilities, the branch follows him in this circle. He doesn't have to worry about anything! With how much stronger he's getting in Magick then he has the capability to stop wars himself!

Lowering the altitude in his flight, the branch still following him in case he drops it, lower altitude will mean they are less likely to be ruined when they hit the ground. Because he's getting overconfident... Hoping to see if he can pluck one of the fruits off the branches while he's still psychologically holding onto the branch, that way he can eat while still in the air. While the scent they give off strongly indicates that they won't taste like say a nougat, or in other words sweet he'll try them anyway. Well he was about to until he saw the tree shaking a bit for some reason... Looking down while flying he catches the sight of something kicking it... Ahhhh too bad it can't fly like he can.

Although the inward teasing was short lived when he saw one of the fruits on the tree about to fall down and land on them when they laid down... He knows that they aren't being attacked by some savage but it wouldn't hurt to help. Besides... He can show off this way holding a whole branch next to him way bigger than him whilst still managing to help another from an annoying setback, besides it's moving pretty fast down from gravity be pretty amazing if he could pull it off. He further amplifies this psychological powers by concentrating very well on his two objects he wishes to shift without physical force and on his Gem, which lets him stretch his mind outwardly with the Magicka starting to intumesce which is displayed on how his Gem started to show a twinge of some mysterious shade of purple on the edges of it like some aura, somewhat showing just how improved he is in controlling it. Pushing his Spell towards the piece of fruit that's falling as an attempt to grab it too while still holding onto the branch.

His eyes were still on the fruit that his Spell concentration faltered a bit on the branch, odd it felt different quickly he tried to regain his control on the branch, but that meant the fruit will continue to fall. Well... He'll see what happens when it lands.

He didn't even get to close his eyes for a few minutes before he felt an object strike him on the head. Startled he sat up but just as he did so something else struck him on the head, this time eliciting a yelp of pain from the young roo. "Ah! Bloody 'ell! Wot 'it me?" He looked first left and then right before finally looking up to see a bird with a branch floating next to him. Odd... But he was sure he'd seen odder before, after all wasn't he the one with the gems on his tail that --to him-- seemed to randomly change color. More fruits were falling towards him and he had to quickly hop out of the way or risk being pelted with more of them. "Oi! 'Ey! Ya bloody bird wot're ya tryin' t'do? Bean me one?" Or three since he'd already been hit by two of the things. He glared up at the dark-feathered raven in annoyance, one paw reaching up to rub at his injured noggin.

His heavy tail slapped on the ground, stirring up a pile of dust as he reclined back on his-- hey! Hadn't he tried to get at those fruits before? He hopped over to one of the things and picked the round red object up in his small paws to inspect it. Hmm... It certainly looked nice but that smell. It was a bit sour wasn't it? He held the fruit up in the air, one eye narrowed as he examined it. Obviously unsure if he should take a bite or leave it for something better. "Do'ya know wot this fruit is? Smells kinda ripe, yeah?" His previous annoyance was forgotten as he voiced his thoughts aloud. After all, the bird had dropped the fruit down to him and inadvertently helped him out.

Watching the inevitable of the fruit landing on the other Gembound Albeon flinches his head back with his beak opened to show an expression of somewhat gritting teeth with how there's a gap now, which a quiet groan of pain was breathed out from his beak in response as in pity of them for having to go through with that. The pity is minor and sort of casual though, just a one that more thinks 'Damn... That seriously sucks.' They seem fine after all besides the yelp of pain... OK it's another Gembound with an odd way of speaking, although it wasn't a one that rubbed him the wrong way like someone else's did, no this one has quite a lisp on them... It probably isn't a 'lisp', a different accent that's pretty heavy, he has to admit it sounds sort of cool.

Still his topic in his head of accents stopped when he saw that the other Gembound was looking dead straight at him with the branch still levitating besides him from that Spell of his. He tried to stop getting into deep shit again even though it wasn't his doing, by trying to play it cool and try the best he can to give a wave of sorts at them even though he was flying. But he stared somewhat dumbfounded on how another wave of fruits that are still attached to the tree came raining down on the other Gembound, managing to make the dodge away from it.

Wait is he being accused? He doesn't know what of make of that, the branch he has clearly still has all of its fruit on it and while he is a little closer than earlier there's no way they would've landed on his head if they fell off anyway, would've went plummeting onto the ground. "Whoa, those fruits aren't my doing! I would hate to waste rations like that, fruits for some reason fall off the trees themselves." He called back in some slight defensiveness and an attempt to reason, he's learned a bit more now that his brutal honesty is something that can get him into huge trouble if he doesn't repress it, still unless that Gembound was being a savage and trying to kill an innocent for no reason then he has no need to 'Bean him one' or whatever the hell that means! They still seem fine though, sort of anyway.

He got a little worried when the tail whipped the ground... Lovely he's pissed someone off again. Should he flee and fly away? --Wait are they looking at the fruit now? They did want some by kicking it, hopefully that means he barely scraped away from getting into another crisis. If they're still angered then he'll, seeing how his social skills are still sort of bad, even if he has learned that being too brutally honest is just going to get him in trouble the best thing he can think of to tame their annoyance is with bribery by giving his whole entire branch to them and being on this way. Still they seem to be looking at it for some reason... Checking if it isn't rotten maybe? His expression being causal and in wonder when the other Gembound asked him something, well he knows a little for one how this tree is a Pucker Tree and well from the scent and the name does imply what it will taste like. "The tree is called a 'Pucker Tree'. So guess it's 'Pucker Fruit'. Seems ripe from the looks of it, although from what 'Pucker' can mean and the strong scent it has I wouldn't recommend if you're expecting something like a... nougat or something sweet or mild like that." He answers with the full on honesty and warns them somewhat, he can't outright say they're sour he hasn't taken a bite himself but there are indications.

The fruits weren't his doing? Hmph, likely story! There were fruits in the trees, the bird had a branch, and he had some sort of psycho power that made stuff levitate! He could put two and two together! But... still... Was it worth getting into a fight over? He thought not. Whether he was innocent or not it was all over now. No reason getting himself all riled up for what he considered bygones. So long as they could play nice now then he was fine. Although, it did make sense for the fruits to fall out themselves. Perhaps they would become ripe enough and then plop right out? Go figure.

Regardless the subject was long past in the joey's eyes and the young critter was more concerned with the thing in his paws. The red fruit was very tempting but that scent... well... it was just a bit off-putting. The young roo glanced up at the bird when he gave his description of what it was. A "Pucker Fruit", well, wasn't that a thousand dollar name? He could only image what a "Pucker Fruit" would do to someone's mouth. He much preferred something sweet like a nougat or something similar but then again... had he ever tried sour? No. So, how would he know that he wouldn't like it? Possibilities flash in his mind as he considered it.

Being a young creature the consequences seemed far less extreme than experiencing something new but he hesitated. The warning from the bird very clear. "'Ave yew ever tried'em before?" Curious if the bird's words came from experience or just an understanding of the name. "I gotta say I'm pretty curious at what a 'pucker'll' do t'someone. If'n yew ain't tried'em afore then I'll be willin' t'give it a burl!" At the very least if he found that this "Pucker Fruit" was just some sort of misnomer then he would have a brand new food to eat!

The joey barely managed to avert getting into conflict regarding this from not saying out loud that what Albeon said is a likely story, he doesn't take so kindly to being accused of lying he hates lies after all, somewhat he'll understand if he was talking about that vision and getting accused of lying then, not even he knows much about it. And since he wants to stop getting himself into trouble constantly, seriously the amount of misfortune he has is just ridiculous, he thought the raven like himself brings misfortune to others, not to himself. So he'll drop it too, he was trying to stop them from hitting him after all.

Still the topic of the fruit is back at hand as to what kind it is, he personally isn't the biggest fan of sweets actually, doesn't hate sweets just isn't crazy for them he'll still eat fruit since he can't stand the thought of killing an innocent for food when there's various other food available to have, if he needs meat then he goes for carrion, that's apparently what his fellow corvids do for meat anyway. Still due to that who knows what he'll think of sour. As for the name, he doesn't choose them but it does indicate what they can do if you decide to bite into one... But if he does he better do something beforehand to avoid complications again... If it as sour as it really is to the point of making his beak pucker... If beaks can pucker. Then it's best not to have one while levitating the branch.

Slowly flying back down with the branch descending with him making the landing nearby with the branch being let go of his mind to be placed on the ground. "Well no... But if I do then it'll be better if I try one on the ground or I will accidently drop them on you then." His concentration on holding the branch would break if it is just as overbearingly sour as the name implies, he'd rather that not happen and he gets the impression that a sudden shock that cuts off the hold will be too much on the mind, and at even this height it would result in ademption. Still if he wants to test then they can knock themselves out then, possibly almost literally, causing him to shrug in response which makes the scarf at the base of it to move around a bit.

The dark carrion bird descended down to the ground, dropping the branch as he confirmed that he also had never tried one before. Well, he supposed they both could try something new then! "That's the spirit!" He said with a laugh and an enthusiastic slap of the ground with his tail. He placed his fruit on the ground near the bird before hopping off to find the other one that had hit his head. Once he found it he picked it up and hopped back over to the black-feathred avian. "Alright. How 'bout this. You'n'me take a bite 'a fruit at the same time? That seems fair, yeah?" He was all ready to go as soon as the bird confirmed that this was on then he'd bite into it, no hesitation.

Well seeing how the best way for him to get these would be with his Spells of the Budge variation but an advanced one, can't pull with his wings he needs them to stay airborne, and he can't with his talons either they may be tough enough to not smash when they landed on the roo's head, but he does think his sharp talons will be too rough on fruit they can be fairly fragile. Might be too heavy on his young beak as well to carry, all these things are the reason why he's never really had the chance to try one due to all of this. At the same time, he managed to pull off one of the fruits on a Watermelon Tree with Budge once, so he probably didn't need Telekinesis to get one of these ones. Doesn't know why he hasn't tried them now, when he wants to avoid hunting for moral reasons, he really needs to do a protocol of trying as much fruit as he can really.

Still this might be a good chance to do something about it! Give it a try here with the joey, might be amusing to see their reaction if it really is as sour as it supposedly is, besides like he thought before he's not too crazy for sweet things anyway so he may have better endurance with sour food. The roo themselves seem perfectly happy to do that, he is glad that things didn't get ugly between them, so he'll be happy to join in on this too. Just a little fruit... He's seen a horrible vision and was almost killed when he came to be, a small fruit won't sway one as great and capable as him!

Looking down at the fruit that the roo just placed in front of him he felt a bit confused as to why it was in front of him, he has his whole branch on him right now. But then he was offered to take a bite of it at the same time as the roo then now he gets it. In his response Albeon decides to test his Magick again, won't hurt too much if he dropped it out of shock of the sourness if it's just one fruit and it won't be ruined too much from this small height. Stretching his Magick & mind again to grab a hold of the fruit to put it next to his beak by directing his target around the fruit.

Sadly, another fruit went plummeting and hit his head instead, well his Gem cushioned the shock of it before the shock reached his head. Still it broke his concentration and he may strain himself if he gives it another shot. Instead he with determination leans over so his beak is right next to it and gives the roo a glance and nod for confirmation for that he'll go along with this.

So, operation Puck Fruit Sample, was a go! The bird was there and was prepared to take a bite and he was standing across from the avian with a fruit raised to his own mouth. "Alright! On th'count'a three we both bite in." He turned to stare with determination at the ripe red sphere. "One... Two... Three!" On "three" he reached forward with his mouth and bit into the fruit, taking a huge bite. Immediately the beyond sour taste washed ever his tongue, turning his lips inside while a rather comically disgusted look appeared on his face.

"Mmmrrrfff!" He abruptly dropped the fruit and began stamping on the ground with one foot while his two forepaws lifted up to his mouth, covering it. It was obvious that the fruit was a bit too much for him as finally he doubled over in agony and fell onto the ground. Completely oblivious to all but the strangely painful sour taste in his mouth.
