"Speech" Thoughts
The curious scent drew a growing wolf-pup throughout Orion. It was familiar. Friend. Her nose easily guided her towards the tower. A place in Orion she had only been to once before she had been called to go else where. She would fix that some day, but that day was not today. Today, she was hunting. The little fellow was around here. She just hadn't fully located him yet. It had been a long while since she had seen him and she figured it was time for a drop in to say hello. audit's perked up when she heard something scurrying and her heterochromia eyes darted up towards the tower. She took this moment to stand there and awe over the thing. That thing was huge. It had to be bigger than the mushroom!

Her thoughts were broken by a sudden loud and aggressive 'who's there!'. She blinked and looked around thoughtfully before lowing her nose back to the ground to try and pick up his scent again. It was thicker here. Fresh. That definitely had to be him. With a grin Arkrael followed the scent trail he had left behind, flowing it towards what she guessed to be a den. Smiling broadly as she decided it would be best not to try shoving her head into the little fisher's den, she instead plopped back onto her haunches. Her tail was lightly slapping against the ground as she tilted her head.

"Fisher! It's me. Come out of there," She called to him. Was he hiding from something? Was he in a bad mood? If so, what could have put him into his bad mood? Or was it something else all together, perhaps she had accidentally woke him up? No, Arkrael was being super quiet in her walking. Always taking every walking moment in to practice her stalking. Quiet paws were best paws. She dipped her head down, almost falling into her curiosity to poke her head into his den and get a look, but she didn't want to be that intrusive. She would just wait for him to come out.

A bark, a gentle, friendly woof. Soft. Friend. Friend. Barkfriend! Fisher's ears perked and he darted to the stairs of the tower, peering down from his new den with a curious expression... Yep, there she was! The black and silver friend, Arkrael. His hunting buddy. He sniffed, tilting his head at her. What had made her decide to come this way? Well, he couldn't let her notice how worried he was.

With just a light zap! his heart slowed, steadying from that awful uneven, quick, racing pace. It always calmed him down to use a bit of a magic to control his heart-- even if it backfired sometimes, it wasn't anywhere near as bad as the kind of zaps he used to defend himself. Taking a deep breath, the fisher cat came scampering down and over to the big wolf-barkfriend with the pretty rainbow-water gem. Arkrael was the best hunter he knew-- he had learned a lot about pack hunting with her and he... Well, he was down right surprised to see her here, seeking him out.

"Arkrael!" He woofed at her, setting his tail to a wag as he always did among friends but especially among barkfriends, a trait he had absorbed from his first barkfriend, Isaac. "I thought you were that awful shadow monster," he confessed.

Arkrael tilted her head as Fisher came bouncing out of his den and looked at her. Her tail wagged instantly the moment she saw fisher's going back and forth. Her eyes blinked when Fisher admitted to believing she was some strange shadow creature and her interest had quickly perked up as her ears pushed over. "Shadow monster?" She murmured thoughtfully, "What shadow monster?" It was a curious thought. The only strange creature she could thing about was Beast, but he wasn't a hostile thing. She couldn't remember if Fisher had met beast before, but if he had he wouldn't have been hiding from him. Whatever Fisher had seen it had spooked him. There wasn't a creature Arkrael could think of that even remotely made her think it was Fisher's monster.

"What did this monster look like?" She finally turned her attention back to fisher as she lowered herself to her belly in a relaxed position. She was happy to see Fisher again, curious to know what the little guy had been up to. It was only then that Arkrael realized she was definitely growing bigger than her. She had already been a size or two bigger than Fisher when they first met, but now it seemed like she was still growing much bigger than he. That was alright though. Fisher was still her awesome barkfriend. Shaking her thoughts free she tilted her head in question again towards Fisher, "Was the shadow monster here?" Sure it was a lot of questions, but Arkrael couldn't help but to be curious about this creature Fisher was referring to.
Fisher's tail wagged and wagged as he stared up at his friend-- man, Ark was huge now! A big ol' barkfriend. Was Isaac that big now? What about the others? He had to find all of his friends and see how big they had got-- and now he wondered why he was so small. Thankfully the barkfriend brought him out of those thoughts before he got all huffy and grumpy about his smallness-- the shadow creature.

Fisher had only seen flashes of the thing, and for that reason it would be hard to explain. "It was like a big black shadow of the King of Bones... Have you met the King of Bones? He's not really a king, but he's a jerk. Big feathery bird. So this thing it... It had big winds, and was black as black can be. It had a mean face... It looked kinda like a cat, but without any eyes. And it could scream! It was in my den, and I chased it out with my zappy powers."

Because he was awesome. Never mind the fact he had practically passed out after missing the shadow Batcat. "It was loud and dumb though. I think it might come back, but I'll just zap it again if it does. No biggie. So what have you been up to?" He asked because he was, truly, honestly curious.

He shuffled up to his friend and then plopped on his side, rolling on to his back, pawing up at her chin with his bright copper eyes watching her intently. He was trying to play off how scared he had been, and maybe it was working. Maybe no one had to know that the noodle had been kinda terrified that there was a giant King of Shadows that might want to take revenge on or eat him.
"Speech" Thoughts
King of Bones. Yeah she knew him. The thought of the bird made her frown. Their last interaction had not really gone so pleasantly. Mostly because Arkrael had been in a mood and wanted little to no interaction with others. She still needed to apologize to that bird. Or she could just keep ignoring the issue. Shaking her thoughts away Arkrael pricked her auds towards Fisher as he began to speak again. A big, winged cat with no eyes? Arkrael tried to fathom just how that would look. And screaming? It sure didn't sound very friendly. The mental images of this creature Fisher was explaining caused Arkrael to shift her gaze, turning her attention to the surrounding area. She sniffed lightly, almost as if she were expecting to smell an unfamiliar scent. When all was well and no scary shadow monster was around Arkrael set her gaze right back to Fisher.

"Well, hopefully it doesn't come back. It sounds kinda scary," Arkrael didn't like to admit things were scary, but Fisher was her barkfriend. She wasn't so worried about her pride taking a hit when it concerned him knowing something. Of course, she knew Fisher would be able to hold his own against the Monster. He was able to before, so it surely wouldn't be too much of a problem if the monster came back. Unless...it came back with more of it's own kind.

Quickly shaking those thoughts away Arkrael settled back down and grinned when Fisher questioned about what she had been doing. Her thoughts quickly took off, pondering over the many things she had done since her last seeing of Fisher. "Well..." She began thoughtfully, unsure on where to start first. She crossed her legs in front of her and flipped her tail in a thoughtful motion. "Well...I met a creature named Beast. He sent myself, Tamelyn, and several others off in search of armor pieces. But, aside from that nothing really exciting has gone on for me," She tilted her thought as she continued to contemplate it. Oh wait! There was that...-

"A yeti saved me and a buck named Vazi from a bunch of Golems..." She turned her gaze up, following the trail of the stairs that led up to the top of the tower. That entire encounter still left chills running down her spine. That could have been the end of her. Her magic had gone terribly wrong, leaving her in a mess of extreme pain and the inability to move. Quickly she shook the memory far from her thoughts and refocused on Fisher, "That's about it though..."
".. I hope it doesn't come back either," the noodle gembound admitted, quietly, his prideful, boasting tone subdued to a tiny twinge of worry.

Fisher listened to his barkfriend go over her travels and journey so far. She had seen a lot, which impressed and made him curious. Tail twitching, he wondered if he would ever meet Beast. Maybe he could go off with Ark to find him, or ask Tamelyn... Hm. But his heart dropped as the wolf mentioned a yeti-- a word for the beast he hadn't known, but now that he had heard the word it connected the pieces for him immediately.

"A yeti... Saved you? Was it big, white... With a pinkish gem?" He couldn't believe it. The awful beast that had killed a sort-of annoying barkfriend had also saved one of his favorite barkfriends? But why? Wasn't the creature an evil, roaring monster? So why would it save her and... Vazi? Fisher didn't know the name. He had so many questions, his tail twitching.

If he hadn't unleashed the yeti, hadn't gotten that barkfriend killed, would Arkrael still be here to talk to him? Would she be dead, torn apart by gem greedy golems? The mustelid wondered to himself, a bit stunned by the turn of events. "I can't believe it." If the yeti had saved his friend, that meant that the white beast wasn't wholly evil. Maybe he could make up for what he had done, whatever it was, that had angered the beast.

"That's must be the same yeti that I woke up, the one that killed a gembound right before my eyes." Fisher wouldn't count on the yeti saving Arkrael again, anyway. He wanted her to be careful around him from now on, so quietly, he warned her of the danger.
"Speech" Thoughts
Arkrael's ears perked instantly when Fisher began listing details of the giant gembound that had saved her life. Her's and Vazi's. Her tail swatted at the ground lightly as she gave a curt nod to confirm what Fisher was saying was true. Yes, Svarog was a big white beast with a pinkish gem. "Yes, that's him. Vazi and I were trying to help him. Golems were trying to get his gem...so...- Things went bad though," A frown quickly marred her features, but when Fisher began speaking of the yeti as something he had awoken. Audits pushed forward, intent on listening to his words.

When Fisher spoke of death soon after, Arkrael dipped her head down as her ears splayed out to the sides. "Killed a gembound? Who...I mean..." Arkrael paused in her words, her ears folding more backwards from where they had slumped to the side. She didn't want to bring up awful memories. Especially not something like that. Arkrael had never seen anyone be hurt, much less killed. She could only imagine what that could feel like. "I'm sorry. I had no idea...but he did save me and my friend..." She couldn't really say as to why. Arkrael hadn't even realized the Yeti had known they were there. Except for the fact some of the golems had turned their focus onto herself and the buck whom she had dived in after for.

She owed that creature her life and in being indebted to the thing Arkrael would find a way to repay the large fellow. "Anyways, lets not bring up painful memories." She quickly shook the topic away from her mind and once again sat up a little. She looked her barkfriend over with a content grin. "I learned a new skill though! It's kind of neat. Want to see?" Of course, Arkrael had every intentions of showing Fisher. It wasn't really a threatening spell. Sure there could very well be repercussions for attempting to use it, but it was always fun to see what would become of the rocks and stones.

Arkrael cast her gaze around before she spotted a few decent looking stones and quickly hopped up, trotting over to them. She used her nose to scoot them right back over to the fisher and once again took her spot on her stomach as she moved her legs to wrap around the rocks. Now all she had to do was concentrate. Almost immediately she felt her gem come to life. Humming and vibrating, almost soothingly, through her entire being as it gave little flashes of colors. The rocks between her legs started to form and compress until they finally cracked loudly and fell away. A broad grin instantly peel across her features as she now stared down at the small precious gem that lay before her. It was only as big as her smallest toe pad, but it was impressive regardless.

She shifted and used her paw to scoot the gem closer towards Fisher, her tail wagging happily. "See, I can MAKE gems now. Kinda cool yeah?" She was impressed with her handy work. Having only used that certain skill a couple of times before, but now she had done it almost flawlessly. She was content with it. She also hoped Fisher would like it too.

Fisher was happy to put the past behind them. He didn't really want to think about the death of Deus. It was sort of a sore spot for him because it was kinda his fault and all. His ears perked when she spoke of a new power she had-- and to be honest Fisher could hardly remember what kind of magic she even had. With a sniff, he nodded and wagged his tail. "Yeah, show me," he chuffed, getting back to his paws. She wandered off and he followed her to a bunch of pebbles, blinking with curiousity.

She managed to make something of the stone. It had turned to a gem before his very eyes, absolutely beautiful. It was a lot better than his lucky rock, which, honestly, he had to get back still but aaanyway. He would get it back! "That's amazing! You make gems!" Could she make golems and gembounds too? That seemed a bit crazy, but surely if she could make gems she could... Well, considering her recent run in with golems he would hold back on asking.

"Can you make me one?" He asked, tail wagging, eyes bright.
"Speech" Thoughts
Arkrael grinned happily to see Fisher's mood change. Her tail wagged, thumping against the ground lightly. "Yeah, I just discovered it a few days ago! By accident really, but it's really awesome!" She yipped with excitement as she turned her gaze back down to the gem she had made. She wasn't sure if anyone else could make them, but if they carried the same magical gifts as she then there would be doubt if they could or not. Her gaze lifted back up when Fisher asked if she could make him one. "Of course I will!" She barked happily.

She rose up from her paws and padded off to find a bunch of other rocks and soon pushed them over to Fisher. Plopping back down Akrael wrapped her paws around the rocks once more and she quickly concentrated on them. Audits twitched as she could do nothing but stare. Her gem did not hum or vibrate. She felt nothing of the essence of her magic coming to life. She scowled, but did not bring her gaze back up. Nothing. Her nose wrinkled up, exposing the tips of her fangs. This would not do! She would just try again...

throwing in a second attempt. hope you don't mind.

"Speech" Thoughts
It seemed like forever as Arkrael stared at the rocks before her. Then suddenly she felt it. The soft vibrations from her gem upon her chest. Instantly a grin broke out across her muzzle, replacing the previous scowl that had been there when she had first been unable to do what she had wished. The humming soon followed the Vibration and with a small dazzling splash of light coming from her gem the stones between her paws suddenly compressed and with a loud crack fell away from a dazzling gem. Her tail instantly began thumping against the ground, glad that she had finally produced something worth giving to her barkfriend.

Quickly she rose her gaze up to Fisher and pushed this gem up next to the first one she had first created. "This one is different! You can pick either one, or have both, I don't mind. Up to you!" She yipped and barked as her tail seemed to pick up it's pace. She was happy to be using a new spell. One that would surely make others happy to receive gifts. She would have to go find Tamelyn at some point and show her all about the new spell Rae had learned also. That would be later though. She eagerly watched Fisher, curious to see which one he would want most, or if he would want both of them.
