Reseda looked up at the giant structure towering before her. She thought she would feel something, but she didn't. That was okay, she didn't mind. There was rock before her and that's all it was: rock. With a purpose, most likely.
It didn't take long to find the opening of one of the structures. It looked dark inside. Well, everything was dark but this was extra dark. She didn't mind. The darkness was okay. When she walked inside, she smiled at the warmth. It was warm inside and her scales were cold. This would make a good den.
She turned out and scoured the area, eyes sharp for anything hat would make her den more comfortable. When she came back, her jaws were full of moss and bones. She lined the warmest section with the moss and dropped the bones into a small pile nearby.
Ever since her meeting with the dark one, the bones were interesting to her. They were once creatures that walked and talked and functioned. Now they were shards, white and brown shards. Reseda wondered if she would one day take her own shard. She looked forward to it, but for now these shards were hers.
She set herself down in the nest and pulled a bone close. It was a long one with lots of scratches and a few chips. But it looked sturdy and strong. She didn't really know what to do with it now, so she opened her both and chomped on he end. It was pretty okay, so she did it again, this time scratching her teeth. Her gums warmed and her mouth felt good so she continued to gnaw at the bone, the scratches and scraping quite loud. But she didn't really care.
When I speak.
