Red blood coated Blackberry's claws as she ran them through the dragon's hide. She wanted to taste it so badly, but there would be other opportunities. She could not stop mid battle to lick her talons clean. No, she would just have to wait.

She felt the air rush past her as the dragon snapped her jaws shut just next to her. Momentarily shocked by the sudden movement, Blackberry paused and realized that her wings were faltering. Another drawback of her new body was that her wings did not handle flight as well as her last pair. So she desperately opened the claws on her stomach and attempted to latch onto the dragon's horns.

Blue cackled deeply, his voice practically echoing. The dragon seemed confused about something. However, the moose's amusement was erased by anger as he watched the dragon try to attack Blackberry.

"Stupid bitch! Come and get me!" He taunted, trying to get the dragon's attention. From his place on the ground, he charged again and turned his body last minute to hit the dragon.

Asimona felt a sudden weight on her horns and she glanced back only to freeze with shock. What she had just taken for a strange pattern on the bird's stomach was actually a bunch of claws and they were now gripped around one of her horns. She wasn't really sure how to react so she just stared dumbly at the bird when, all of a sudden, the moose crashed into her again. Taken by surprise, her claws dislodged from the mud and she was thrown back towards the lagoon.

With a loud cry, she lost her footing and was suddenly holding onto nothing. Desperately, she threw out her wings and barely managed to take to the air before she hit the surface of the water. Gasping with surprise, she raised herself up so that she was hovering just above the water.

Her claws gripped around the dragon's horn and Blackberry was about to dig her talons and beak into the dragon's skin when, all of a sudden, there was a lurch and the dragon went flying backwards. She honked loudly with surprise as there was yet another lurch that threw her off the dragon. She fluttered in the air before her, hissing furiously.

She was about to scold Blueberry for his idiocy, but they were in the middle of a battle. She shot towards the dragon with a loud cry, aiming for the muscles on her wing to get her back on the ground. However, her wings wouldn't carry her all the way and she ended up flapping uselessly in front of the dragon, quickly falling to the ground and into the water with a loud splash.

Blueberry smirked and chuckled. The dragon had to fly up to avoid falling, and he found that absolutely hilarious. But Blackberry fell from the air and into the water in front of him, and he knew he was in for it. But there was no time to apologize now, they were in a battle. He wanted to help her, but that would waste time. Instead, he focused on the task at hand. Killing the beast.

Grumbling lowly, he charged once more, this time rearing last minute to push the dragon back, hopefully, make her fall from the air.

Asimona watched with amazement as the two, apparently so desperate to get at her, lunged towards her, even though she was both in the sky and over the water. She gave them credit - they had spirit and they were determined to destroy her, for whatever reason. While the goose failed horrible, the moose, surprisingly, his her directly.

The force knocked her away and she lost her balance in the sky. As she began to fall, she stretched out a claw towards the water. Just as it made contact with the water, there was a cracking sound and she fell heavily onto a thick sheet of ice.

Blackberry spluttered as water sloshed over her and she began to sink. Furious, she kicked out and struck at the water with her quilled wings. However, her feet were no longer accustomed to travel in water and her wings were useless and thin. She tried to scream, but all she did was let go of her precious breath. Now would be a good time to be useful, Blueberry!

Now in the water with Blackberry, the moose panicked. Focusing on the magick with his gem, he called out to the plants to save him and Blackberry.

Please please please please. Even if you don't save me, save her. Save Blackberry. Try to save me.

Blue pleaded with the plants, he needed them to help. Just this once. But they didn't. He was stuck on his own. Blue thrashed and kicked furiously, trying to make his way to Blackberry, to save them both.

Asimona scrambled to her feet and glared into the water, trying to find the two, to see them pop out of the water. But there was no sign of them, other then shadows in the water. She snarled and a cruel thought came to her mind. A voice crooned in her ear. "Do it. You have to. It's the only way you'll survive."
She opened her jaws and summoned the magic to her throat. She roared out a torrent of cold and ice, which shimmered across the open water of the lagoon. A thin covering of ice appeared on the surface, hopefully trapping the goose and the moose under the water.

No help came from Blueberry. Seething with rage and fear, Blackberry desperately tried to swim. She noticed that there was now a layer of ice on the surface and she realized that she would have to fight with all of her strength to break through that. However, her strength was starting to fail her. As she desperately tried to swim, she realized that she couldn't. No part of her body was accustomed to swimming anymore and she couldn't get herself to the surface.

Panic took over as she realized that she was running out of breath. Blueberry, please! You've got to save us!
