Writing Prompts
In this li'l OOC thread, you can post a short form, and receive a writing prompt with a tag. I will update every couple of days, and if more than one are up, I can pair people with a prompt, too.
Prompt examples:
- Name is practicing magic when a spell drastically backfires, requiring quick reaction...
- Name sees a strange and distant light on the cave wall. It seems to be moving, and could use investigation.
- Name and Name find an oddly tantalizing piece of fruit at the same time, and must decide whether to share, or fight over it.
- Name is hunting rats, only to have an entire swarm of them pour from a cave wall to attack, Other Name happening across this by chance
- Name is just grabbing a drink of water when they slip, falling into the fast-moving river

do with the prompt is entirely up to you. Others are welcome to post prompt ideas/suggestions or whatever they want!

oh, I LOVE this idea! just the other day I was looking for some prompts to get into my characters and I found a website which generates random questions like "what was your most traumatic experience?" and "what's your biggest fear?" and I had the idea of answering them IC like your various characters are being interviewed.
here's a link!
I also had the idea of assigning different drinks (like hot or cold teas) to your characters, and when you're bulk-posting with that char, making yourself that drink to help get into that mindset. I have so many different teas that it seems like an interesting idea!

Zevruu - A flashing light is visible briefly at the top of Orion's tower--was it another Gembound, an illusion of some kind, or merely a reflection..?
Kallista - Kallista stumbles into one of Monoceros's deeper gorges... too deep and too steep to escape! How will they get out?!
Equinox - Equinox finds a delicious-smelling mushroom in a mushroom patch... which turns out to have unexpected effects. Addiction, perhaps, or hallucinations--be they pleasant or dangerous...?
Kin-Kin - Kin-Kin for some reason gets the idea to climb a very tall, broad-branching tree to look out over the fog of Cetus. Will they manage, get stuck up high, fall down..? What a strange place for a canine, anyway!
Imperia + Envy - Imperia is briefly blinded (be it by poison of some kind, or injury, magic, etc), and Envy must be their seeing-eye-weasel for a time!

It is! But unfortunately the tag didn't work and I didn't see it until now. x) Usually you want them at the end of a post or they tend to bug out!!
Xervas - Xervas observes the bats of Cetus flying to and fro, where he can't yet fly. They might make decent prey, or allies? Maybe he's curious, but how can he get up there, or try to get their attention?
Aithaxas - Aithaxas in Polaris notices the crackling of magicka within the Spire. Could he perhaps investigate the link between the Spire and magicka itself..? Why is Polaris so thick with it?
