"Speech" Thoughts
Arkrael stood in one spot. Completely focused on what she was doing. She was in a fowl mood. No matter what she was doing, she just could not make it work. She had failed several attempts by now and she was starting to feel discouraged again. Heterochromia eyes narrowed as the hackles upon her neck began to rise with her annoyance. Why was she doubting herself? She had done it before so why was she allowing these failed attempts bother her? She would not be discouraged in her practice. She would get it right and she would do it successfully. Her top lip quivered up, baring the tips of her fangs as her tail was held high. She still didn't quite understand why she always held it so high, but it only ever felt right to do so. It was just part of her nature she guessed.
Clearing her thoughts Arkrael slowly closed her eyes and forced herself to relax. Releasing a slow breath to relax her body even more she began to concentrate. Willing her magic to do her bidding. Slowly, but surely her gem came to life. Vibrating with it's, safe and familiar, sensation that soon began to emit a gentle hum from it. A smile instantly curled over her features as she felt her magic course through her. It was working this time! Her ears perked up when she began hearing the ore that was slowly reacting to her. Eyes opened and she watched as ore slowly began to spill out of the rocks and floor alike. Skittering and jumping over the ground until it ultimately jumped up and met with her Gem. Almost instantly the ore spread out over her body. Encasing her head with it's Familiar helm while providing her chest and legs with armor. The last thing the ore reached was down along her spine, leaving little spines to gather up along it's ridge in a dangerous fashion.
Happy laughter escaped the she-wolf as she did a quick circle, trying to see every last bit of ore that gathered along her body to make such an amazing feature to her. The helm atop her head covered the top and circled around her ears easily before small parts jutted down between her eyes and on either side to cover even her cheeks. Yes! She could still do it! Her tail flagged behind her, showing her joy at her successful attempt at using her magic. And with one final breath the ore fell away from her. Dropping off in broken pieces until all the ore rested upon the stone she stood upon.
Quietly she watched as the ore absorbed itself back into the ground before she finally turned her gaze away, a firm smile attached to her muzzle. It was time for a break. Slowly she carried on in her pace, deciding a good spot to sit was a few paces way near the wall. She had almost gotten to her chosen location before a sudden glint caught her attention. Her ears perked up and she turned her head to get a better look. Blinking a few times she awed over the large gem that jutted out of the wall. Stone and rumble began to fall away from the gem and Arkrael's curiosity grew. She hurried over to it, sniffing at the Citrine gem that lay embedded into the wall and floor.
There was no way it wasn't what she assumed it was. She pressed her head against the gem, her smile growing even larger as she easily felt the vibrations of gem coursing with life. There was an unborn gembound in here. There was no other explanations to that particular wave of vibrations. Arkrael hummed softly as she lowered herself to sit on her haunches and lifted a paw to press against the side of the Citrine. Quietly she began to play the guessing game with herself, curious to know what would hatch from this Chrysalis. It would hatch soon, she just knew it. The vibrations within the gem were too strong for it not to be.
