Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

Aquamarine was the name of a stone, Aure last thought, but - ah, well. Who was he to judge about names? His was pronounced completely different from how it was spelled (not that he knew that either. Birds can't read.) Uh-rah, as it went. Something else, huh? He didn't have any nicknames to offer to the not-rat, so he stayed quiet on that part. Bright eyes lit up in mild interest at the mention of a Kingdom; it wasn't any name that rung a bell. It must be recently formed, he thought, but I haven't heard a single peep about it from anyone. The membership must be small, or isolated.
Thinking back to Black, the wyvern had to restrain a bit of a grimace at the mention of a ruler. There were plenty of those undeserving of that title, as the guardian had told him. That was, essentially, the basis of why Aure didn't refer to himself as the Bone King for a few cycles into the Bonebound's lifespan.
He blinked, though, at the mentioning of Astraea. How does a kid know him and fear him - ? Ears flickering forwards, brows furrowing, Aure hummed, "uh, he was here a while ago but - I don't think he spends much time here." His wings adjusted at his sides, wing claws tucking in and out of view. (Telling the stuff he's done to a kid - she's so little - that's - hrm.)
"You'll be okay here, don't be, uh, afraid, Aqua. As long as you avoid him or - uh, making him mad, you'll be alright." The wyvern blinked again. "You don't have to worry about any of that kinda stuff, Aqua. Leave it to the adults, y'know? Just go and be a kid for a bit. Play around, practice your magic, meet others."
After a brief pause, to make sure the not-rat was reassured, Aure asked, "how many - are there in this Kingdom? I've never heard of it. Not even a rumor that it was coming around."
It hummed again as the small fox-creature, black and still fairly recognizable, chirruped to it. Leaning close hadn't been its intention. Phlegethon arched its neck again, though with less fanfare. Lowering its head it made another retching noise. A sizable glob of slime fell from its jaws, sloshing across the flatter part of the swamp floor with a squelch! There were definitely a few undigested bones in there. Without much worry, the monstrosity picked them out and swallowed them again.
Sweeping its head over the pile and gesturing, it called, "this is what is on me." To the rest of the group - the Hive - it added, "you can cover with it. Wear it. Do not eat it. (It rumbled this loudly, a clear warning.) You will appear old. One of father-Aquarian's." To quote the Overseer, though it did not understand any of the meaning behind those words. "It will hide better. You may not be questioned if you are spotted outside of hiding." Not by any Overseer, at least.
Phlegethon then looked to its Rot-father, eye cracking open to catch his glance. It nodded simply, and stared back at the menagerie of Gembound. "I hunt for Rot. I can hunt for you."
The title rang a bell. His memory, though, was leaky as is, and all it did was sound familiar to him. "I've heard of her." His voice was at its normal volume, yet soft in tone. He was preoccupied with digging in the files of his brain, lost papers corrupted to the sands of time.
Training new creations sounded excellent, though. "She would prove to be a useful asset in these times, then, sir." If she decided to emerge. What had that Merchant done to wake the champions up all those cycles ago? It was faulty nonetheless- there were still some chrysalises closed as far as he was aware.
He wondered who they contained. He couldn't remember the trial he'd run directly before the last. They must all be from that one, right? He... Didn't actually know what had caused him to retreat to his chrysalis. That was concerning.
Perhaps he could find someone to teach him some spells to look into his past. But, for now, they could do with some other older beings in these caves that aligned with their cause. He couldn't imagine what she looked like. If she shared the Overseer's stone, they must be similar, right?
