Flying, Tyr found, was a particularly nice exercise. It was good to let his mind and body drift among currents flowing about the room, soaring under the high mossy ceiling of the ceiling, taking in the world around him. The feeling of his feathers curling with each flap gave him elation every time.
Of course, one couldn't fly forever. Tyr sat with his feathers fluffed out, tail splayed behind him as he lost his beak between individual strands to preen himself back to perfection. He'd done enough flying for today, enough to feed his belly and enough to get tired of his wandering mind.
A squeaky sigh came in the form of a huff. He couldn't get satisfied, no matter what he did. The avian had to close his eyes and turn his head elsewhere, forcing his brain to contemplate something else for once. Something to do, maybe, would be good, rather than just sitting around without a clue in the world. A grumble escaped his beak as he rose to his feet. There was no good in just sitting around and letting your body waste away, now was there? He gave a few swipes over the feathers growing in around his gem with a wrist before stretching out his wings.
Well, he had to do something. Clicking his beak, Tyr fanned out his wings and looked to either side of himself. He could find someone to talk to, perhaps, someone other than himself. That would be a good use of his time, he figured.
