Ashtoreth tried to scrunch up her face and laugh about Giggle being Aure's stinky mom, but she couldn't get half-way through the thought without remembering how good a mom she had been for Bones and Kerberos. Maybe if Giggle had been her mom, she wouldn't have been so... Screwed up. She didn't spend enough time with the ancient hyena; maybe once she got home, she'd have a chat with her.
Aure's words comforted her. Not that she needed to be comforted, a stubborn part of her brain insisted. She was eager to hear about the family she hadn't meant, even though it made her realize just how long she had been gone. Last she remembered, Ethyan was a baby, and... Well, the name Tahlia wasn't particularly familiar, but... She thought she could picture the chrysalis tucked up in the chambers back home. One of her stone-mates, the one that hadn't hatched with her and Liora? That seemed about right. Her whiskers twitched as she thought about Fornax, wondering the logistics of a trip out that way to try and find her to say hello.
For now, however, she simply nodded and spread her wings, curling up her long, noodly body. Her wings had grown large in her adult age, which meant that they could almost carry her with some grace-- though, a bit of wind never hurt.
With a single flap of her wings, she summoned a low, steady stream of wind that ruffled under her body and she took flight, swooping on ahead-- though her wind current would make easy flying for the wyvern as well.
Hey, she gave him a mental nudge as he ended in the sort of flat note to include himself like he was merely a footnote. I'm just saying, you're one of the cooler Vita's, alright? She noodled her head under her body, staring at them upside down as her wings carried her body-- butt first-- through the cave.
She had enjoyed hanging out with him thus far. He was the first person that made her feel like she wanted to go home, if only to hang out with her half-brother some more. He was chill. Their family needed a few more level headed birds around, honestly.
