Nemo
"Hey now, I offered the story! It's all good on my end. But I am going to say, I didn't get out of that twister by myself. I nearly didn't get out." A statement like someone commenting on a surprisingly warm day, almost cheery in it's ambivalence.
Now Nemo winds himself up, puffing out his chest again and standing in a more eagle like stance- head lower to his shoulders, brows severe, and wings settled higher to make him look bulky and powerful, before he continues,
"A Gembound by the name of Glory saved me, a massive golden eagle who has his gem on his head like a crest of feathers, bright and a hot color that matched the red-soft metal he'd work." he gestures over his head to mirror the gem with one wing, and then he tilts his beak down to Comet and offers a smirk.
"You wanna know what I did after he flew in, grabbed me, and flew us out?"
A beat.
"I scolded him!" this is punctuated by a harsh barking laugh, and he deflates again, shaking his head and chuckling at himself,
"Back then I was convinced that I didn't deserve to get yelled at! I mean, I did offer him a very sincere thank you, after a small bit, but I also wanted credit for the small burst of wind I'd made that pushed us part of the way out!" He has to take a second to shake his head a bit more, and he looks at Comet with amusement.

"Yeah, Glory was amazing- I'm sad I didn't stick around too long, only for a cycle or so, and then I left. I haven't seen him since..."
Letting Comet lose her mind laughing, Nemo basks in the happiness that's inherent to making a someone laugh so hard they can't breathe, and beams at her, only offering a faux offended,
"Well, okay, I stabilized the air a tad that let Glory keep from landing on me when we landed! Wasn't a graceful landing, but I was almost as big as him! I don't blame him at all for that."
When Comet calms down, Nemo gets a little serious, and settles down into the snow, looking like a little feather loaf as he adds,
"I wish I could show him how far I've come. I didn't start flying, as in, actually getting off the ground until I was much older, after all of my feathers had grown in and then some. I..." another sigh,
"I still have bad days where I feel terrified when I'm up in the air, so I flutter walk around like I used to- but hey!" Her perks up, and then jump-launches himself up into the air... not even flapping and hitting a decent height before
pomphing back into the snow.
"I have really strong legs for a bird, I've seen!'

This... had been a good day, actual events aside. Laughing so hard you can't breathe right is always a good thing, and the bird was always going to think that, hopefully.
As he chuckles and grooms some snow from his feathers, eyes crinkled in glee when he watches the fluffy younger gembound recover from her own bounce, he... has to blink a few times. Did he get snow in his eyes or-
"Oh. It's getting dark. Late. I guess that's... it then? Do you think that means the snow will be gone?" Nemo is sad, really, not sure if he'd ever be able to see his new friend or the odd snow again. But! There's one thing he can change about that thought.
"Well, let or not, it's probably time to go warm up, now. Can we... ever talk again?"

Nemo tilts his head in thought, trying to remember what cave Orion was... Is it the one with all the stars that he saw all those cycles ago?
He'll figure it out.
...
Right?
Anyway, where he lives is...
"Ahaha," he chuckles, neck feathers fluffing up in almost an embarrassed blush.
"Right now I'm haunting Canis, the room of bones out... thata way." he gestures with a wing down the Tunnel he'd come in through.
"I'm still building my nest, but I'll invite you when it's done if you like. I need to gather up the courage to talk to some people first."
Nemo is happy to earn the title friend- and this gives him the small confidence boost he needs to actually start a plan to approach the Bonebound.
"I'm sometimes not home too, I've got a lot of building to do after all! But maybe I'll see you around! Just... keep an eye out for me getting myself launched through the air on my magic. I'm sure it'll happen again," the bird jokes happily, and he worries at his necklace with one wing.

"Yeahaha, it would be- hopefully I don't hit a wall again, though." he chuckles, and stretches to the top range of his legs to keep up with the wolves' strides, feathery pants now obvious as he traipses along.
The way Comet asks about his nest as they sort of... slowly wander in one direction makes him think over his plan.
Are there different nest types? I mean, it makes sense but... hmm.
"Well," he takes a deep breath, like he's ready to launch into a very descriptive monologue about how cool his nest is, and he begins-
"It's up on a neat ledge I found on a far corner, where the walls kind of start to split. If you walk for a bit there's some sort of maze nearby - don't go in there its creepy okay? - and I've started picking out and stacking bones to sort of make a platform? I guess I should maybe add sides to it, so anything cool I find doesn't roll away, but... yeah." Wow. Seems like he ran out of steam pretty quick.
"Mmm..aybe I can come visit your nest at some point too! We can give each other advice and... stuff. If you want."
