Haven rumbled deep in her chest as she flew, powerful wings carrying her forward, faster and faster with each stroke, "Yeah!! I love flying- you're nearly there too, if you get going fast enough!"
She laughed and put on a bit more speed, rumbling happily. She let out a roar as she reached the cliff, extending her hind legs and flaring out her talons. She half-crashed half-landed on the side of the cliff, latching on with her claws and talons and quickly flipping around to face Stormy, head bobbing up and down.
"Let's play tag! I'll keep low to the ground and we'll stay close to the beach!", she said, and took off, "I won, so you're it!!"
She giggled and darted ahead, her tail weaving behind her like a ribbon as she swooped and pulled hairpin turns around rocks and driftwood.
@Stormy
Haven laughed and spun around quickly, using one of the cliff edges to grab onto and scuttle across. She lunged over Stormy, head down and tongue blepping out.
"I'm Haven!", she crowed, taking off down the beach again.
She wasn't very fast on foot, so she kept in the air, her tail and legs hanging down as she flew away from Stormy, laughing her butt off. She finally landed and hopped forward a bit to slow down, turning to face Stormy.
"Come and get me!!", she called out, giggling like mad.
Oh this was so much fun!! She hadn't had this much fun in so long, it was amazing!
@Stormy
Haven let out a startled noise and then growled playfully, "Oh I see how it is!!"
She bolted after Stormy, snapping at her tail, her lips reaching out as far as they could to no avail. She leapt onto the spires and jumped and climbed between them, chasing after Stormy, her head bobbing down to try and tag her, mouth carefully closed so she'd only boop the horse.
"You're fast!", she said, "And small!"
She leapt ahead and her neck extended, her nose touching Stormy's back, "Got you!"
She scuttled over the pillars and flew off, landing in the water and charging off, hopping forward, easily traversing the surf. "Come and get me!!"
@Stormy
Haven snorted in surprise, unsure if the horse could swim or not. She chased after her, charging through the water, her tail thrashing behind her, splashing in the water. Where it bifurcated into its pink fins, water was scooped up, and she threw it forward at Stormy with a laugh.
"You won't get away so easily!", she said, taking flight again and snaking her head forward, a grin crossing her face.
She lunged forward and managed to bump Stormy's flank, before backpedaling in the sand and taking off at a gallop, giggling like mad. She finally scaled one of the cliffs and tucked her tail up, too high to reach.
"Time out!", she cried, panting, "Let me catch my breath!"
She turned upside-down and clung to the cliff face, chest heaving. She pushed off and floated down to the water, taking big gulps of it, as if she was parched. She raised her head and shook droplets off her rough skin, nostrils flaring as her gills opened up to intake more oxygen.

Haven smiled gently, "We met fresh out of our eggs. We learned to fly together, and to speak. He was as amazing then as he is now. I just... adore him. He's my best friend and my partner... everything I've ever wanted."
She looked down and sighed gently, a soft smile on her face, "He's just... amazing. Brash and narcissistic. He speaks his mind and cares a lot about his looks. But I think his ego's been tampered a bit by my own lack of sight. I can't see how amazing he is, so he's desperate to show it in other ways instead. I think I've taught him to be kind and empathetic."
She laughed gently and curled up, "We've built a nest in one of the caves, you know. Up on one of the cliffs, we found a lizard that mesmerizes its prey using frills, but since I can't see, I had to try and snap him out of it. It was... a mess, to say the least."
But he cared so much. He just didn't know how to show it, and that was okay.
