Ever since the trial he had been fascinated with Pisces. It was slippery and wet, yes, but water seemed to roll right off of his fur. The cold didn't bother him because the downy white stuff all over him kept him nice and toasty. Plus, there were ridges here and with his new larger body (about the height of a large leopard but longer) he wanted to try out his wings which had grown considerably over the past few days. It didn't worry him that he was growing at an alarming rate, it excited him! He would be so large and big and just wait till Kerberos saw him! The last meeting had ended up in "play" which had ended with both of them collapsing. Baratheon was certain this time he would win! ..Well, so long as he didn't eat Kerberos it was all good. He just wanted to show off his power!
First thing was first though, he had to test out these wings.
He climbed up on the ridges, by passing a few dens. One with flowers and crystals and leaves strewn all around with a lioness sleeping within. He'd be extra careful not to wake her. He continued to climb and climb, passing another den with a tiny fox but he was intent and paid her little mind as he used his paw-claws to grab onto things. It was slippery but he made sure to be extra careful. For a moment he paused and focused on his magic in an attempt to make it less slippery but it didn't work. Ah well, couldn't work all the time. The dragon shook his head and continued up to this highest ledge. He was a looooong way up and for a moment he felt it in his gut. The brief thought of climbing back down and reconsidering buzzed in his mind. He shook these thoughts away. He came here to fly and dang it he would!
He spread his wings, peered down at the ground --that was veeeery far away-- then without thinking about it, he leaped-- and promptly began to fall. Panicking he began to flail his wings. "Rah! Damn it! Come on! Work! Work! I know you can!" He didn't know how he knew but he did. He flapped and flapped and finally felt his descent began to slow but it wasn't enough. Fearfully he covered his eyes with his paws and in a new approach let instinct take over. His wings spread and instead of falling he began to glide towards the ground. He peeked then uncovered his eyes as he realized he wasn't going to die. "Yeah! Alright!" He didn't flap his wings again and instead did a slow circling descent until he landed --not so gracefully-- on the ground. He had to try that again!
