Size: 8 ft tall; 13 ft tall when balanced on tail
Appearance
Character DNA: Appearance and VoiceAppearance and (to some extent) voice inspired by Freddy the Yeti from video game: Date Everything!Appearance inspired by Vicar Amelia from video game: Bloodborne. Appearance inspired by Lord of Winter from video game: Wizard101. Voice is inspired by Curio from video game: The Bazaar. There's no good voice clips of him so you'll have to watch a clip from a silent playthrough where they visit his store. Valkhound designed by bunny is my T4 reward! [Link] to UNFINISHED SKETCH; the SHAPE and DESIGN will not change but certain colors (currently represented by grey) need to be added.
- Tail can support his whole weight so he can use it like how a kangaroo uses its tail. - Can survive in very cold temperatures for a very long time due to maximum fuzz. - Giant moose-like antlers - Opposable thumbs, dexterous hands, non retractable claws. - Could probably eat whatever. - Spiky plating on the tail makes it a good offensive and defensive tool. - Probably homosexual. Happy pride! - Moderately sized for a Valkhound, but much taller than the average humanoid. Maybe 8 ft tall when not balanced on tail, and Wide to boot. Tail nearly doubles his height but he stays within height limits. - Oilstone in navel, buried under fur so not immediately visible. Due to Audland's possession and frequent usage of Cursed Flame, Audland's fur is almost always singed in various areas. He is still mostly blue, however. Due to Audland's possession of Deviant Spores, an icky, oily mushroom houses itself in patches on Audland's skin. These patches are mostly hidden by Audland's dense fur coat, but the fungus produce a rotten, acrid stench that can be smelled from a close enough distance. Audland experiences frequent, annoying skin irritation wherever these patches take root. Received Saran'zol's Consequence: Vampire at cycle 13 after being 'sploded. "At times, Audland will begin to feel extremely overloaded and energetic for a while. Red sparks will jump from his gemstone and it may be accompanied by headaches, pain, or fatigue afterwards." - GM Jaymie Received visible facial bite scars and numerous less visible scars on the belly and legs (obscured by his fur) at cycle 13 after Eleven bit his mouth and shredded him up during intercourse. Received a minor Fissure consequence at cycle 13 after chrysalizing from exhaustion. "A part of the body collapses into a hollow geode-like structure of the gemstone. ... This consequence is minor, with a non-hindering Oilstone geode collapsed into the upper portion of one of Audland's arms." - GM Dark. The collapse does not affect the muscles or flexibility in the affected portion of this arm. Permission granted by GM Jaymie via DM to say that the sparks from Saran'zol's Vampire also come out of the fissure for maximum aura. Snake bite scar in the palm of his hand from a Frostbiter snake in Tunnel B. The injury is Audland's fault entirely, but he's happy to have the memory of his inevitable and impressive victory permanently embedded in his skin. Received at the start of Cycle 15. Personality
Character DNA: Personality and PlansYeti from Monsters Inc.Otto, an OC of mine from a different place. He has familial ties to Huey, who only one or two people would know about. A space alien cowboy OC of mine named Galactegos, linked to a shoebill of mine that no one would know about. They also have WoW versions. Boisterous, callous, casual, charismatic... this man's personality is much like a fish in deep waters: where there is space, it will grow. Often alone, although he dislikes it; there are still some benefits to his situation. He prefers the settings in which he can have a loose, honest tongue, and feel sure of himself. In the cold by his lonesome, those places are frequent. But being in the Valkhound business, he knows that there are also times for self-suffocation, and this is what dissuades his grandiose personality from achieving true arrogance. Covetous, charming, and strangely flirtatious... he is a jealous creature. Easily jealous of power, and of the freedom it presents. Because of this, he is frequently willing to overstep boundaries, gamble, trade, and wheedle his way into situations if he thinks he can get said power. He enjoys the hunt for power, and collecting it; he treasures and catalogues every detail of his trophies. Chill and yet chillingly cruel... his temper is often times uneven. His outside persona and inside experiences can contradict. His favored tactic is to be overwhelmingly cordial, an unyielding front of placating chill, even in the face of what plagues him. Be it his dark inner thoughts, or his permanent self-dissatisfaction, or the unfortunate experiences brought about by his chaotic magic; he will offer a sardonic smile or a disdainful jeer through tightly clenched teeth. He may have tempestuous reactions—big ones, even—but Audland doesn't like to lose his head completely. Even as he scorches an enemy to ash, or strongarms an allyship out of the unwilling; even as his magic cripples, pains, deceives, and blinds him. For better or worse, his rage is a simmering boil. His tenacity remains unshakeable. EDIT: Unless something gay is happening apparently???? History
Created by one of the Masters (he does not know which and neither do I, yippee!) to defend Ursa from Mother, his Corrupted element was deemed a necessity. However, Audland's personal feelings on the matter are less than pleasant. To him, being a corrupted Chaos Beast is more like an office job that he doesn't want but begrudgingly has to take. He has to "clock in" to the right mentality. He finds the magic of the other Gembound more expansive, versatile, and interesting than his own, and he is not ashamed to admit this. He kind of doesn't get why so many other Valkhounds would disagree.

- Mind Reader cuffs from the Training Dungeon, donated by Khavur.
- A stone of every Lacerta lesser, missing some now due to various revivals (and failed revivals). We still have a skrungler, a sailfin singer, a devilbeak, a prickleback, a benjamin, an ogler, and a skimmer. Traded the ripclaw, azhdar, and squallfang stones off screen with Manna in exchange for her pupil stolzite and a fledgeling petoskey stone. Traded the deinocornus, pugna, and scythorn stones off screen with Dip in exchange for a handcrafted, unenchanted poleax. - Magicless mirror from the Training Dungeon. Exchanged a cool sword with Angel in order to get the mirror. - Knife enchanted with Wither from the Training Dungeon. Christened "Ol' Betsy" by Audland. OTHER
[WARNING!] Auddie is a cave-class bully and a provocateur by trade. To this end, Audland is a strange brand of flirtatious, both in and out of overtly romantic situations. His flirtations usually come paired with less savory intentions. (NO sexual content. mostly just gore implications.) He doesn’t respect personal space well.
If just the idea of having your character in these sorts of situations [link here] bothers you, please let me know and I may be able to tone it down or throw a different guy at you. Thank you! Gained a fondness for Frostbiter snakes after facing one in Tunnel B. Planned Tattoos: - A handful of Frostbiter snakes [Permafrost + Rainbow Aqua/End's Sky] slithering down to the tip of his spiky-plated tail. - Icebeast [White/Opaque Bone/Black + Bark-like Keratin for horns] on the thickest part of the side of his tail (near the base). Designed to look like the mini Icebeast is standing on the ground when Audland's tail is flat on the floor. - Frostbiter head painted on the snake bitten hand (backside). - Snowwhisker [Permafrost/White] and Walleye Rabbit [Black/Gray/Rainbow Aqua] on the opposite side of the tail from the mini Icebeast. - Potentially stylized praetor head [Glassy Chitin/Crystal Clear/Black] with its eyes leaking oil [Creator's Essence] and glowing green [Creator's Glare] on either the shoulder, the forearm, or somewhere on the tail. - Either a Firetongue, Basilisk, or a Lava Rat head [Red/Orange/Burning Magma Gold + more colors depending on what gets put here] on the opposite hand (backside) from the Frostbiter hand. The eyes are bleeding oil [Creator's Essence] and gleaming with Creator's Glare. This hand has the arm with the minor Fissure on it. |
