Appearance

Humphrey is quite small, even for a fox. As a kit, he will be just a scrawny little thing. Instead of the dark, muddy looking fur that most of his species would have his is white. Instead of a brown nose, his is a fleshy pink. And his eyes are a pinkish red as well. The lack of pigment throughout his body is to thank for this peculiar appearance. Even the stone on his nose seems to mock his albinism. It a rose quartz, the same color as his nose and eyes. The stone, though small at first, has potential to grow into a large horn as time goes on. Because of this condition, Humphrey has very poor eyesight and the skin that is exposed(nose, inner ear, paw pads, etc) is more sensitive to sunlight. This little fox can often be seen with his eyes narrowed into little slits during the bright times. Since there are no seasons in the cave, his fur just sheds in random patches. At times this causes him to look like he as mange, but he doesn't mind. This patchy, crazy fur tends to match his personality. He also doesn't spend as much time as he should grooming, so whatever patches of fur that are thick and fluffy at the time tend to gather dust and twigs. So with the mix of squinty eyes and crazy fur, Humphrey is quite a creature to look at.

Personality

Humphrey is almost an embodiment of his stone. He is a calm and laid back fellow. No matter how much poking and prodding this fox gets, he will just shrug it off. In a way, this leads him to be a bit of a push over because he is so calm that he will let other walk all over him if they wanted. He will often go as far as to forgive them for what they have done, even if they don't deserve it. He is often thought to be very friendly, but he just tends to go along with the flow and not forge deep relationships with but a few lucky gembounds. He is also a collector of shiny and colorful things. While Humphrey may not be able to see well, he does love collecting the items that stand out in his vision. This can include a shiny rock, pretty plants, bits of pretty fur, really anything that will catch the eye. He is particularly fond of chasing golems that have attached the bright stones from other gembounds chrysalis to their bodies. The fox is also a creative soul and maybe even a little sly. Give him a problem that has to do with his surroundings and he can probably figure it out! Humphrey enjoys putting his mind to the test.
