His length is approximately 7 feet with a shoulder height of 3.5 feet. Standing on his hind legs, Leon can reach an impressive height of 9 feet tall. With a steady diet of fish and meat, Leon sustains a weight of 800lbs; a size like his is easily enough to pass as intimidating, which he attempts to use to his advantage often.
He doesn't often groom himself, preferring a disheveled appearance that implies his carefree nature. His coat is a warm, pale amber that grows darker as it fades down his legs to a rich chocolate at his paws. His throat is the same colour, as is the framing around his face. Standing out against pale colour of his fur are a pair of bright orange-gold eyes. Long black nails curl from his toes, his prized, sharpened blades. Deep, dark scars reach along the bridge of his muzzle, side of his face and across his throat, an artifact of his battle against Cancer.
Leon's stone, that of obsidian, juts crookedly from his left shoulder blade. It rises to a jagged point, reflective surfaces converging on a twisted spire. His stone is a deep black shade that glistens in the light; in his youth, it seems almost flawless, but as he ages and adventures it will accumulate numerous pock marks, scratches and chips.

Leon has a naturally warm and loving personality. In fact, there is so much love within him, it has a tendency to torment him. The bear is a passionate one, and he feels his emotions very intensely. He is prone to outbursts of anger, or long droning periods of sadness, or immense delight. However, he considers this a weakness and has begun to attempt to hide his emotions or quell them as they arise. As a result, Leon may come off as cold or indifferent, despite the powerful emotions raging inside of him.
He is incredibly proud and has a rather fragile ego. Leon is both a sore winner and a sore loser, and is not above holding grudges for an extended period of time. He is also very combative by nature and accepts challenges with ease, eager to prove himself. With his mounting skills, Leon will become a rather arrogant Gembound. He dedicates a lot of his time to training to be a fighter and guardian, and prides himself on his skills. While currently he is still fearful of his abilities, he will develop a confidence in his magic that allows him to use it without fear of hurting himself or others. He will in fact become quite tolerant of the burning of his failed spells, bestowing upon him a rather tough exterior, physically and emotionally. He is proud and arrogant, yes, but Leon learns from his mistakes and he takes it all in stride.
Ultimately, Leon is a morally conscious being. He has always loved and cared for others, even when he felt most alone; he will give himself to others and tends to wear his heart on his sleeve. He jumps headfirst into everything without a second thought for the consequences. Leon will not hesitate to jump in and save or help someone, and then will modestly brush it off as if it was nothing - because, truly, Leon is meant to protect and love, and nothing else.
