Appearance

Sizzle is definitely something to look at. Most snakes tend to have smooth scales, but the only place you'll find smooth scales on her is on her stomach. The rest of her scales are in a constant state of unrest, bristling up and standing on end, making touching her a not terribly pleasant experience. The majority of her scales are a burnt orange color, mixed with brown. Her underside is a pale yellow color, and there are black-blue scales littered across her top. The black-blue scales grow more common the further down you go. Like kohl, or perhaps streaked tears, the same color streaks out from the corner of her eyes. Her eyes themselves are rather round, an odd color that can seem blue or grey depending on how the light hits them. Her pupils are not slits nor round, but are instead elliptical. Between her eyes, on the top of her head, rests her gem. It's the size of a child's thumbnail, and the red color blends in to the orange. As a hatchling, she is very small, even tiny. But as an adult, she grows out to be nearly twenty inches in length. Before shedding, her scales turn a dull brown-grey color, and are extremely vibrant after being shed.

Personality

Unfortunately for Sizzle, she isn't terribly friendly looking. She's very venomous, with the bright colored markings to advertise it. She's bristly, not cuddly, and fairly mean looking to boot. The fact that she wields Fungal Magic doesn't do her any favors. None of this helps her, as she is actually a very nice snake, who wants nothing more than to have friends, perhaps even a family of her own. Sizzle, despite her appearance, is very polite, and nothing short of friendly and sweet, so much as to give one a cavity. She can be naive, wanting nothing more than for someone to see her as a friend, and not a slimy-snake who'll betray them; or an enemy. She'll happily take in even a large predator and protect them, if they even just ask. This snake doesn't like fighting, or injuring others, but is willing to use her venom for the defense of herself or others, although she'd rather try and talk things down. For her friends, she'd do anything, even things that go against her morals, like killing creatures unnecessarily, or using her small size to spy on others. Unfortunately, this makes her rather naive, as she thinks her friends cannot be wrong.
