Appearance

Upon hatching, Yodox will resemble that of a month-old cape buffalo. His coat will be a mottled red-brown. Despite its coarse appearance, his fur is quite soft. On top of his two grey horns will just be starting to grow. His legs will be the least proportionate part of his body, giving him a very lanky appearance. His eyes are two different colors, one being a very pale blue and the other a dark brown. Between his shoulder, his stone can be found. It is that of bronzite and sits in a jagged arch from the back of his neck to the back of his shoulder blades. All in all, he appears to be your regular cape buffalo, just with mismatched eyes and a stone growing on his back. As he matures, his fur will darken to a near black. His horns with extend to cover the top of his head and curl out over his ears in sharp points. Like his horns, his stone will grow as well. It will sit a foot tall over his shoulders at full growth. He will max out at 2200 pounds and he will stand 6 feet at the shoulder. His body will lose the lanky appearance and adopt one of pure muscle. His ears will be tattered with time and his body may be littered with scars.

Personality

In short, this big guy is not someone you want to mess with. He may be a big lumbering creature, but do not mistake him for an oaf. Yodox is highly intelligent even from a hatchling. This intelligence leads him to be manipulative of others and he will often seek to exploit any weakness he can find. This is not the case for all he meets, only those who displease him. Being intelligent, he understands that it is important to surround oneself with those one can trust. This leads him to be quite family-oriented, or as family-oriented as he can be without blood family. If there is to be a family, he will make sure that he is the head. A natural born leader, Yodox is not afraid to challenge those that will oppose him in his life. Although he is aggressive, he is also very hard working. The buffalo has big goals and will seek out anyway to achieve it. Once he reaches his goals and gets what he wants, he will not let [i]anyone[/i] take it from him. Yodox also finds it easy to be competitive. Not saying that everything he does has to be “a win”, but he would certainly prefer it that way. This tends to land him in fights which he does not mind one bit. Yodox loves fighting in all of its forms. It can be a simple spar or a brutal brawl, he loves it. He finds it cathartic and more often than not it solves his problem. This is not ot say he is a killer. He would only kill if absolutely had to.
