Appearance

From a distance one might mistake this strange creature for a ghost with his pale fur and nearly unblinking red eyes. The long irregular andesine gem which rests off-center on his forehead doesn't make matters any better, vaguely resembling a wound which never healed. His fur, already shaggy and unkempt due to his species, has a particularly disheveled appearance to it, as though the forces of chaos itself were in charge of his appearance. Even his voice conveys an otherworldly quality; cold and curious, and almost never giving any clues as to what is actually going on in that head of his.

Yuma has a habit of keeping to the shadows as much as possible, though not necessarily due to not wanting to be seen, as he will often try to start conversations with unwitting guests. His movements vary anywhere between unnaturally still, fluidly slow, and erratically quick, almost never hitting the middle ground of moving like any normal creature would.

Even for an aye aye Yuma is rather diminutive, about the size of a small rabbit. Because of this he doesn't tend to travel very fast and will often get from place to place on the backs of other creatures, whether they be cognizant or otherwise. This might get him in trouble from time to time, as he sees nothing wrong with dropping onto creatures large enough to ride on and attaching to them with his sharp claws for a good grip.

Personality

Yuma is not evil.

He isn't really good either. Both of these are concepts that the small aye aye simply cannot comprehend in the least. At the same time he really doesn’t get angry, worried, prideful, or jealous. To be fully honest he barely displays any emotion except for curiosity and satisfaction.

This can lead to some serious complications as he doesn't feel the punch that others have when it comes to subjects such as pain or death, and sees them as perfectly viable options when hard work or communication would work just as well. He doesn't mean any actual harm by it; he just doesn't think the way most creatures do.

Despite these things he can actually be a profoundly loyal ally, at times attaching himself to creatures (depending on the situation perhaps more than metaphorically) and attempting to help them to the best of his ability and comprehension until either they reject him or he gets bored and goes on his way. With him having no moral compass of his own this could make him either a quasi-saintly force of good or a bringer of pain and destruction depending on who he's curious about that week. He very rarely shifts loyalties in the midst of conflict, but due to his strange mental state he is extremely prone to being manipulated.
