@azazel RE: [ BB/AW ] BE PREPARED! - Kerberos - Nov 09 2015 woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof
Kerberos watched as the others gathered, nearly missing a canine come sit near him. For an instant, the huge white dog almost mistook the coyote for his best friend-- but no, this wasn't Bones at all. The girl had longer, bushier fur and was a lot more vibrant in tones, though filled with less patterns. Taking his eyes off of Ashtoreth and Liora for just a moment, the canine reached over to give the new dog a face full of licks. Before he could react to her, however, a screeching sound of a raven above them all rang out. A protest towards another in the distance. As the dog stood to his feet, a snarl coming across his maws as he turned to the enemy, a sharp coldness ran down his spine. His pink eyes landed on the vibrant green, the one he remembered to well. He felt the death at his paws, the loss of innocence and above all else-- he felt failure weigh him down, a massive rock upon his shoulders. The canine did not have much time. Gertrude began to scream, and the dog feared that the bird would tell his family, his own home, of how he had failed. How he had killed. Because of him, a lamb had decayed under his own breast. A roar exploded from his jaws, his tail lashing out, and he squared his paws under his body. He had to scare that monster off before... The green bird's eyes met one of his own and his confidence shattered, a well-lined word of warning parting from that obnoxiously loud beak. RE: [ BB/AW ] BE PREPARED! - Raikzik - Nov 12 2015
For awhile it seemed the harpy eagle had kept mostly to himself. Growing as the days went by, studying all he could from high atop his perch. Tal'at hadn't been seen in what felt like eternity and RaikZik had grown to miss his little leather-winged brother. He had been sleeping mostly and when there was a sudden spike in activity the large raptor had stirred. Violet eyes fluttered open and slowly he lifted himself up to perch on his feet. He fluttered his wings for a moment before turning his gaze down and peered through the area. His eyes took no time finding the gathering group and it took no effort to spot Azazel in the mix. He ruffled his feathers for a moment before they smoothed out and he hobbled over towards the edge of his perch. He studied who all was down there and for a moment he realized he really had no idea who was who. Zi supposed he should stop being so anti-social. With a single flap of his wings the large raptor pushed himself from the perch and glided down towards the gathered group. He swooped above them before circling around and landing rather gracefully just a few paces near Azazel. He looked up towards the Bone King and gave a nod of acknowledgement before he settled on gazing over towards the other gembounds, watching as a couple of them seemed to have a quick spat between the other. Perhaps today would be a good time to work on his social skills and actually speak to others. "Speech" Tags: OoC: Haalllooooo RaikZik~ Words: 262 RE: [ BB/AW ] BE PREPARED! - Zephyr Bloodking - Nov 12 2015 He had also heard the call, but unlike the others, the great black beast did not heed the summon, rather he was just passing through, his passing silent as a death wraith. He didn't know what the Bone Bound were, he didn't know of the other groups or any merry men, he didn't know of the festival that was in the planning stages, he didn't much care to know. He had his duty, or at least it had been given to him, but he didn't remember. He didn't dwell on it, rather he was a solitary creature, for that was all he knew. He peered at the group from a ledge high overhead, pausing for a moment looking at the creatures ad wondering what they were doing, he couldn't fathom who they were, much less what they were doing. Truth be told, he only knew what is was to be alone, he didn't know anything else, he didn't even know if he wanted anything else. He felt the pull in his chest again, he felt it whenever he had been gone from his charges for too long, he cast a lingering look on the group wondering who they were, what their stories were, yet he turned around to go, his shadow the only companion beside him. RE: [ BB/AW ] BE PREPARED! - Azazel (Original) - Nov 14 2015 His clan would gather, as well as a few other creatures that he presumed were lone Gembound. A bird with a face of some jaded gem appeared, and tensions rose. Suddenly, a loud and raucous cry sounded across the cave as a familiar face (that he hadn't seen in quite some time) appeared. Krakarak. The large corvid knew the rock dove, and Azazel tilted his head, listening to the loud words of the crow. They and 'gemface' had met each other before. He recalled Krakarak's complaints about a gem-faced bird giving him the limp he had now. Narrowing his eyes and ruffling his feathers, the bird was about to speak when 'gemface' spoke.
His suspicions were confirmed when the dove spoke, crop inflating to a ridiculously large size. Azazel was not intimidated at all, if that was the purpose of using a crop. Kerberos instantly got defensive, and he realized that there was deeper drama that he had not noticed. He quietly cursed himself before he flapped his wings once or twice before hopping off of his perch. Azazel stopped before his children and whispered quietly, Waddling towards the rock dove, he stood next to Krakarak, lowering his head so he was face to face with Gertrude. (ooc: you can totally attack azazel if you want and they can tussle yessss also, when gert leaves/stands down, azazel will explain the festival in full, yep) @Gertrude RE: [ BB/AW ] BE PREPARED! - Liora - Nov 15 2015 cue liora being a shit Liora was rather comfortable, nestled into the soft feathers of her father's breast for at least a couple seconds before he looked down at her and scolded her for not being very nice to her sister. Liora cocked her head up, furrowed her brow with slight confusion - what do you mean? Not very nice? I was just securing my throne. Thus were her thoughts, albeit in a slightly more primitive presentation as a confused squawk. He didn't really offer any more explanation, instead picking her up and settling her on the ground against her will - in his grasp, she struggled and flapped her wings, suddenly alarmed by the loss of heat from her father's body. When he abandoned her on the ground next to Ashtoreth, the little hybrid shot a withering glower at her sister, obviously blaming her for not being able to sit with her father. Never the less, she did as she was told and sat still, huddled up next to Ashtoreth. She was silent, eagerly waiting for her father to start the festival so that she could forget her recent dejection. She hadn't even realized it when another bird had entered, a rather fancy pigeon, until her other father came blasting into the group screaming profanities at the pigeon. Startled, Liora puffed out her feathers and straightened up, turning around to watch the sudden fight break out between the strangers. Kerberos moved in, same with Aza'zel, trying to advise that the pigeon back down. Meanwhile, Liora hopped on her feet and fanned her wings in excitement. "KRAKAW! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" She crowed loudly. RE: [ BB/AW ] BE PREPARED! - Ashtoreth - Nov 16 2015 Ashtoreth didn't want her sister to be mad at her, but when Daddy told her off she felt a momentary flash of pride. Aza'zel loved them both dearly, but the little fuzzball couldn't help but think she was her father's precious little angel. When Liora shot her a grumpy look, The mustelid hybrid nuzzled her sister's fluffy down, licking at her feathers with affection. It wasn't until Liora started squawking about a fight that she paid attention to the world around her, ears pricking. There was some big ugly green bird that looked tacky and out of place in the place of dust and bones, though she couldn't watch very well with Kerberos' big fluffy butt in her face. Hearing her sister's battle cry edging the adults on, excitement started to fire in her nerves and she grinned wide, flapping her wings gently. She tried to stir the air, command it to channel her sister's voice louder. She would have joined in on the chanting, but she could get in trouble for trying to cause trouble. It was much more fun to make her sister louder, to hear her bright, scratchy voice screech through the cavern. RE: [ BB/AW ] BE PREPARED! - Gertrude - Nov 16 2015
Round: 1/? Attempt: BEAK TO THE THROAT! CHOMP IT! Defense: Fluffed feathers, even balance Injuries: NA RE: [ BB/AW ] BE PREPARED! - Azazel (Original) - Nov 24 2015 As he had kindly advised, the snobby bird did not stand down. Oh, no. He kept on with his stream of insults. The avian's name was Prince Charmbirb Gertrude. What an odd name. Princehood, though.
When that final comment was said, he got into a fighting stance. His body lowered and feathers ruffled. Each toe spread out across the stone floor and his wings were loosened in case flight was needed. The pigeon ran towards him, looking for blood already. Before he could react, the bird had clamped his small beak shut on his neck, just above his sternum. Hot, wet blood trickled from the half-inch deep or so bite. Azazel went onto his back in attempts to throw the bird off a little, then began rastling for his form with his legs. He hoped to grab the bird and throw him off of him so that he could begin to attack.
