Kin-Kin
bisexual -- :light: -- Female
Kin-Kin could well be the most egotistical creature in all the caves. She can be somewhat of a bully, taking pleasure in seeing the annoyance of others mounting. However, she also enjoys being a role model for younger gembounds, taking pleasure in being admired and using that, in her own way, to help out some of the young ones in the cave.
She recently crafted herself a sword from crystal and reached master magic level, which has put her ego at an all-time high. She'd never say no to the opportunity to show off her sword, and ego matchs with this she-wolf always end in hilarity. However, I'm looking looking for a few more permanent additions to her life, having spent all her days relying on being at the right place at the right time. Whether that be rivals, friends, or even *shock horror* a lover of some sort!?


Gabriel
Asexual -- Aromantic -- :prok: -- Genderless (it pronouns)
Gabriel has just emerged into the world after a lengthy incubation period. And now it's looking to put gembounds in debt make some new friends by helping people out! It's already a little bit magic savvy, but is always out to know more and especially, it's dying to learn all the ins and outs of the cave!
Gabriel seems to be endlessly optimistic, its strengths lying in logic rather than emotion. And so, it will not be the most reliable source of comfort when in dark times, brushing off disaster and heart-wrenching events in the world around it as if they mean nothing. Death, especially, it sees only as an opportunity to become stronger. Although its views may be abstract, it is not inherently evil. It sees itself as looking beyond the needs of the individuals and out for the caves as a whole.
He is one of the Four Knights.


Equinox
bisexual -- :fire: -- Genderless (Female pronouns)
Equinox is quite a shy creature who is slowly but surely coming out of her shell. she's very self-conscious of her appearance and her slime because of its destructive properties, and at times she's even terrified of herself. However, be nice to her even a little bit, and you'll have a friend for life... once she's convinced herself that she can handle it, of course. she can be so desperate for acceptance that she's easy to lead on and manipulate.
Towards young creatures I imagine she could become very caring and motherly, helping them find their way in the caves or simply taking them under her wing. Although she hasn't yet been in a battle, she would likely lay down her life for those she cares about. I may or may not begin to develop her as an introverted scholar type, who draws out her findings onto rocks using her slime as ink. However, I'd need someone to get her interested in the history of the cave and things that have happened in the past.


Fate
Demisexual -- :arcane: -- Female
Fate is fascinated with the concepts of probability and fate, aiming to one day predict the future through logical rather than magical means. How others perceive her will be based entirely on her needs at that specific time. She looks out for herself alone and can be mischievous or even sadistic when she's bored. When she wants to anything else, however, she can be very manipulative, preying on innocent bystanders by teasing them with what she knows or playing the part of the lovestruck sweetheart. She does, however, have a particular soft spot for newborns. She uses a pair of dice as instruments of false prophecy, intrigued to see if her meddling in others' fates will increase the odds of her fake fortunes one day coming true. Or, there's also the propect of it being fun to watch others spiral into madness. that too.

Kielo
Pansexual --- :light: -- Genderless
Kielo is the child of Kin-Kin and Chou, and they express themselves as such. Bursting with pride for its much-loved friends and family and love for the world around it, not even blindness can stop Kielo in their quest to make friends with everyone in the caves. At the moment, Kielo will need a lot of guidance when it comes to navigating the caves but in time, when Kielo grows into their feathers, they'll use their long tail to sense their surroundings and feel soft vibrations in the air. Their heart will also swell, adulthood bringing with it an almost-embarrassing attraction to nearly every friend they make.


Envy
Aromantic --- :animal: -- Genderless
This sick little one desperately wants to live an ordinary, peaceful life but thanks to the toxic gem on its tongue, it lives in a state of barely-controlled poisoning. It's repelled by the thought of others taking for granted what it has to struggle with every day, but in its desperation finds it impossible not to watch as they eat, drink and love in ways that it can only fantasize about. These things combined have lead to a snarky, sarcastic, and short-tempered little creature who distances themselves from others out of jealousy, but doesn't have the heart to be entirely alone. The constant juxtoposition of situation and need has lead to this creature becoming the living embodiment of their name; they are Envy.


If you have any ideas for plots or events surrounding any of these characters, feel free to post them here! I have big plans for Gabriel and I'm looking to involve the others in some larger plot at some point too!

aaaaaaalright, obviously these two are going to be close af, what with their shared knighthood and all, but even more so if Gabriel ends up joining and The Evolutionists (or idk what you guys decided to call the group, you know what I'm talking about??).
Because I was planning to get Andromeda into that too, with her horde of lovers - she thinks herself to have super good traits and wants to pass them on, so she'll make lots and lots of babies. Or that's the plan, at least!

So idk, but these two probably share some ideals and we should thread them together a lot c:

Yooo, okay so we should totally thread Kin-kin and Nuriel (because of my obsession), a friendship of some sort, or weird sort of motherly/sisterly figure? Though I think the parental type position is taken, Maybe. But who needs only one?

Could also do one of the other two/or all if you want?

And the player of Andromeda has been inactive for awhile, so I'm not sure whether that's still going through; but a sibling sort of bond does sound fun, I feel like Kin-Kin will be more of a parent figure but outwardly treat it more as a sibling bc "it's all the fun of parenting without all the annoying commitments" and plus, Kin-Kin is notorious for annoying younger gembounds if she finds them funny. xD
Tbh, that's how I imagine most of her 'parental' relationships to be. XD

Woo! Great, that sounds wonderful (and aren't those relationships just the best). I'm getting his emerging/hatching/breaking free/whatever you people call it thread up now, which I think Kalli may have wanted Ambrus to become like a father figure so he might be in that, but I can get a different thread up for us after, or Kin could just join in with that?

Also more Imperia/Kin-Kin threads are a must. You were thinking that Imperia could seek her out when Aaliya leaves as well, right?
