Their dad though their idea had been a good one. Cadenza was proud, but more than that, they were simply happy to have helped their dad even a little. He had helped them so much in the short times they had been awake, and he helped them even now. But, even if he had been a stranger who had not helped them at all, Cadenza thinks that they would have been glad to help. Perhaps not to the same extent of gladness, but helping was good.

Meeting a sibling, they were reminded, was also possible on this journey. They were fairly certain they would like that. But though they did not know it yet, their hopes to meet Bone this day as well would be disappointed.

A cave full of magic... This Polaris, it sounded fascinating. But what they wanted most was to get to Orion, so they would have to spend time truly exploring Polaris another day. Today, they would simply travel through it to Orion. To their other dad.

Walking or flying? Cadenza assessed themself. The water had helped with the slight tiredness they had been experiencing, so... "Flying to start? Then we can alternate as need be?" Cadenza suggested.

And with that, Cadenza began a slow run that went faster and then again took wing, this time towards the tunnel their dad had pointed out. Now that they had flown successfully, it seemed to come much more naturally.

"YES," Dread agreed, of course loudly. The moment Cadenza took flight he followed, leaping into the air again with great sweeps of his leathery wings.

This would be... interesting, he hoped. And he was pleased that they would travel together, in an easygoing, content sort of sense. Family was good, and bonding with family was also good, in Dread's mind. "WE CAN STILL TALK WHILE WE FLY!" he added, with a quick "IF YOU WANT TO" tacked on at the end.

The seabirds (whose company he tolerated, and who he often left scraps of his hunts, so that they had learned to fly alongside him like remoras with a shark) joined him in flight, wheeling away as he reached the tunnel. There he had to land to walk, but that was fine. "WE CAN REST IF YOU NEED TO, TOO. IT'S FAR."

It wasn't like much would attack a pair of dragons at rest.
