The 2-year-old Dread x Kalama child, a dragon/chicken hybrid, who never hatched... (sad) is up for readoption. Their physical design is locked in, but as they've never been roleplayed and no personality was set, that can be anything you want. Priority will likely go to those who don't already have a Dread or Kalama child, and who can keep the character active! It will hatch as an adult, having been in a stone for two whole years, its big flint chrysalis having been watched over by Dread on the top of his den/sea stack all this time. Preference will be that the character has some sort of relationship with its parents & hopefully the larger dragon family (not all are active but it includes Dread, Blight, Svartis, Bone, Callum, Cadenza, etc.). Permission has been granted to use the artwork (by Choir)! Please don't adopt to kill them off & use their stone or anything!

Appearance: Taking primarily after its magic-giver, this being will grow to be nearly twenty feet long from head to tail, standing on its front wings at a rough five and a half feet at the shoulder. Its dark leathery skin is saddled by black iridescent feathers. Its head and tail fade to a bright orange. Overall, its body structure is more wyvern than chicken, with bat wings (covered topside with feathers), two talon-tipped legs, and hard horns. Adorning the top of its head is a thin comb-like horn that allows it to vent heat out from the skin that covers it. Leading from this is a bright red mask of skin.
Its flat flint gem rests along the roof of its mouth.

What kind of personality/plotting did you have in mind? he will be an absolute prince. I imagine him being a bit babied by his family after finally hatching, but it all kind of goes to his head like "youngest sibling syndrome". I can see him being kind of a spoiled brat, essentially. He will be arrogant and greedy, and have a strong desire to be strong and powerful (if only to prove that he's not a fragile little baby despite taking two years to hatch). I want him to have a hoard of something(s) though who knows what it will be. (maybe glass?)

despite him being a huge twerp, he will have a soft spot for his family and love them dearly, even if he will squabble and fight with them at times (over things that realistically dont matter in the long run)

all in all i think he will take quite a bit after dread but also a spoiled little baby boy who has to come into his own <3

Do you have any Dread/Kalama family already? I used to have a kalama kid, but id given them back to Kalama's player before I left the site previously. Never have had a dread kid, however.
Can you keep them active? For the most part - accounting for my full-time work and moving in a few months.

What kind of personality/plotting did you have in mind?

Depending on his family's reaction, he'll probably feel bad for not hatching so soon and want to make up for it by spending as much time as possible with his family to make up for it. Going to generally be friendly and be extremely protective of said family and others who he deems good/fragile/weak. Will probably go for magic path, but also tactics and physical? Fire breathing chicken cool.

Could see him patrolling the caves on-and-off to make sure nothing bad is going on after the war, depending on how involved the family is with it. Would rely on dread maybe for target practice with fire / fighting training potentially, and build a good relationship through that. Depending on how often he interacts with the other family members, he's gonna be very family-oriented and probably want kids of his own in the future, and/or develop into a hopeless romantic.

Generally will want to make friends with everyone, and anything. Could get into trouble with lessers because of this, and probably will want a familiar in the future. Something draconic or scary, like a dragonbat or something if he can familiar forge those. Won't be afraid to kill to protect someone, or for food, which might make him seem like he has odd morals but he just wants to keep everyone safe.

After a lot of debate I think we'll go with @ultraviolet (Shafaer) and the "spoiled shit-prince" character theme! Thanks so much both and SOOOO SORRY for the delays...
