Krakarak had hoped to appeal to the wolf's better nature with his compliments and begging but alas, she was made of sterner stuff. The wolf neither shifted nor moved and the bird was still pinned beneath the canine. He wanted to cry at his misfortune. The misfortune that was all his fault... The bird sighed and decided to accept his fate. He'd forever be trapped beneath the furry bottom of the wolf.
"Krakarak sorry... He not try to hit Mighty Wolf in the eye, he only try to have a little fun. Not mean to hurt. Krak Krak!" And there was a little sincerity to his tone as if he actually felt remorseful. Which he did a little but not for hitting her with the rock, he was moreso remorseful that it had almost blinded her since he hadn't meant to do that. He was also a little upset that he'd been caught at all.
The bird stared ahead, blinked sadly as he pondered over his fate so when the first few feathers were plucked it caused him more surprise than pain.
"Krakaw!" He cawed out in the mixture of the two emotions.
"Rak Rak! Stoppit!" He yelled in dismay as more and more feathers were plucked.
"That hurts!" Not to mention with less feathers he would be far less attractive!
"There." Done with torturing him by pulling feathers --or so he believed it was torture-- the wolf let him up. Krakarak wasted no time in fluttering to his taloned feet and turning to examine his back where the feathers had been plucked.
"Krakarak looks hideous..." He groaned in dismay.
At least he was alive and free though.
The bird turned his beady eyes to the wolf, face expressionless for a moment before he hopped up to her and bowed.
"Thank-you for letting Krakarak up. He sorry for hurting you. He no hurt you again, Mighty Wolf. You are most merciful for not killing him." He didn't add the words "and I'm forever in your debt" but they were implied with how he looked up at the female. One thing was for certain, once you bested the young raven he knew when to give proper respect.
