Kawenu watched as the fluffy dragon killed off his doppelganger by leaping through it. When he turned about and playfully threatened Kawenu, the duck quacked out loudly, flapped his wings and turned, waddling away as quickly as possible, trying to jump start his wake of mushrooms (the kind that might give mild hallucinations [unless you eat a ton, then it's hardcore hallucinations]). He giggled uncontrollably, then spun around and darted under Khori, running a new direction. The duck was having more fun than he'd ever had. Little did he know that this creature could easily eat him, but even if he did, he'd be grateful to play instead of be a snack. He looked around for a moment, then jumped up onto a rock. From there, he flapped his mighty (undeveloped) wings, quacking quite loudly. "You are fun!" He wiggled his tail enthusiastically. ---- "He talks with quite the gusto." Laughter rung from Khori as he began to loup after Kawenu. All the while his doppelganger seemed to be mimicking his every move! Two dragons were after the little duckling and though one made sound, the other did not. When Kawenu ran right beneath Khoridai the noodle wolf quickly looked beneath him to see where the duckling was running only to finally see what was beginning to pop up from the ground. "Ooooh!" He awed as he turned on paw and quickly turned around. Slowly his doppelganger began to vanish, completely forgotten by the noodle wolf.

"What's this?!" He grinned broadly as he lowered his muzzle and snuffled at the strange thing that seemed to grow in the path the duckling had ran in. Audits pushed foward as he hummed thoughtfully...Just as a thought occurred to him that just MAYBE it was edible Khori had to watch as the fungi suddenly shriveled up and disappeared and a pout formed across his features. "That was strange..." He commented before turning his focus back to Kawenu when he spoke again. His grin grew once again and he wiggled with excitement. "You're fun!"

The duck watched with curiosity as Khori seemed to have quite the fascination with his attempt at a wake. He giggled as Khori seemed to consider eating one, but it died away as soon as it was made. Then the wiggling noodle looked at him and said he was fun. I'm fun! He quacked out and jumped down from his pedestal. He hopped around and waddle in circles, trying once more to make a wake. Success came, and he stopped to inspect them. They didn't look special, but they did look edible. He looked up at Khoridai and jumped back onto his rock, tucking his little wings to his side. Kawenu observed, wondering what exactly he sprung up and what the affects may be. ---- "He talks with quite the gusto." OOC: only eat one or two for mild hallucinations and plenty of funsies! Khoridai watched the little duckling jump down from his rock and as the bird began to run in circles laughter spilled from the noodly wolf. Though the moment he saw the mushrooms begin to pop up from the ground once again his eyes went large and he instantly louped right over to them. "They're back! You grow them?! How awesome!" He cried out in excitement as he snuffled his nose along the caps of the mushrooms. His butt began to wiggle as his tail began swaying to and fro. "What are they?! Can you eat them?! Do they taste good?!" He asked in excited curiosity.

Of course he didn't leave any time for the duckling to answer him as he suddenly chomped his fangs right onto one and then another and began chewing them up. A strange face contorted his features before he finally forced himself to swallow the strange things. "Eeeuuuuuggh! That did not taste as great as they look!" He whined as he plopped back down on his hindquarters and lifted his pawed hands to rub at his tongue as if to get the taste off.

Kawenu watched on as Khori stuffed two into his mouth, then reacted to the bitter taste. He quacked out a giggle, then returned to the ground. He decided to try only one, himself, finding it wasn't too bad in his own opinion. He smiled up at Khoridai and started heading for the Crystal River, waddling along as quickly as his little legs and big feet could carry him. "Come on!" he called. It didn't take long for Khoridai to take note of Kawenu gobbling up one of the mushroom things as well. HIs tail began to wag again and the moment the ducklings voice called to him laughter once again bubbled from the noodly wolf. He spun on his back paws to face the direction the little duckling had hurried off in and quickly gave chase. "Not gonna fall behind!" He yipped and barked excitedly as he hurried along.

With plenty of quacking along the way, Kawenu rushed toward the river that cut into Polaris. He hopped into the water, his natural buoyancy carrying him over the surface of the crystal waters. He peered into them, seeing swirls of color in the ripples that surrounded him. "Do you see it?" he said in surprise, looking up at Khori. The dragon's pink swirled with his white, the fur seeming to grow and shrink all at once. So weird... so trippy. ---- "He talks with quite the gusto." OOC: druuuuuggggs @Khoridai

Laughter continued to fall from the noodly wolf's muzzle as he hopped and jumped after the duckling. Though, the moment the duckling suddenly sprung into the air and splasheed into the water, Khoridai skidded to a complete hault just at the edge of the river. Slowly his eyes grew wide as he stared at the strange things in the water. Colors mixed and twisted. Kawenu lookeed like he had melted right into the water only to come bursting out in a display of colors that matched his feathers. "yES SEE it," He yipped almost too loudly as his little wings suddenly spread out as if they were going to try and lift him right off the ground.

Slowly he leaned his head closer to the water, his nose snuffling at the surface as he could only stare at his own reflection. his pink and white and black blurred, shifted and twisted within the waters surface. Almost to the point that Khori was terrified to even look at it. So, the little dragon wolf hybrid quickly lifted his gaze to the duck only to snort when the ducklings distorted image once again looked like he had became part of the water once again. "YOu float? Can I float?!" He awed thoughtfully as he stretched out even further, all three paws on the ground with claws digging into it as he lifted his other hand pawed out as if to try and grasp the duckling. Much to his displeasure he soon found that the duck was truly not in arms reach...but that didn't seem to stop him from trying to reach further for the duckling...

As Kawenu tried to pay attention to Khori's words, he felt as if he had began to sink. Panic washed over him and he flapped his wings, causing quite the splash (er, for someone his size). He came within reach of the dragon, feeling a bit of relief at the touch even if it felt unusual in this high. He gave a loud quack, looking back toward the wonky dragon as his face contorted in odd ways and colors became even more vivid and bizarre. A rush of pleasure filled him and he waddled closer before plopping onto the paw that remained rested on the ground. ---- "He talks with quite the gusto."
