Silence reined between them but the lioness liked to think that it wasn't the oppressive kind that yielded tension. Instead she fancied it the type of silence that was borne between two creatures that had reached an understanding and were simply content in each other's presence. The golden cat trusted the black and white wolf enough to take her eyes away while she feasted and after she finished, still leaving an ample portion of meat on the carcass she used a paw to push it across the trunk and straight to the wolf.

Without saying a word, simply nodding her head, she gave permission for the wolf to finish off the kill. She considered it a sort of peace offering between them, a sharing of meals and a sharing of words. The lioness wouldn't forget her and wouldn't forget that the caves hadn't completely taken this one.

The relative silence is something Rinaotei strongly appreciates and the soothing mist that envelops the place and help her breathe easier really helps too which makes her close her eyes and her nostrils flare up for a brief moment as she takes in a deep breath, and it's making Rina very much relaxed now, so much she's making herself at home now, but she is still steady in ensuring she's making herself at home within reason of course since it's not her den or anything. Rinaotei really doesn't possess her own den, she's on the move so much and so when she has claimed a den for a bit she'll find that some other Gembound has claimed it themselves thinking it's empty when she's been out on one of her expedition like adventures that last a few days and she doesn't bother to reclaim it as she's not that emotionally attached to it to want to start violence with them to get it back. It may not be healthy sometimes really, after all birds don't fly forever they often use a branch to perch on to be able to replenish themselves and it's like a home for them, for if they fly without perching they'll fall from the fatigue. Still she doesn't see herself settling down anytime soon, seems like 'Dewdrop' here has settled down, even though she did say that she has seen lots of troubles in her time so who knows? Then again she is raising other Gems now so there's that too.

In her thoughts Rinaotei hears the noise of something being dragged across and so she opens her eyes back open to half lidded and looks down only to see a small remnants of the deer carcass that had been killed for food earlier. Puzzled, she turns her head over to the direction of where the lioness is to see her nodding her head at her which Rinaotei realises that she is been given the last part of it. While she can handle herself and usually takes fish instead, still it would a be rude to reject it now since it was a peace offering and she has seen the lioness eat it herself so there's no way it has been poisoned and since one whole reason why they met was because she thought leaving it was wasteful and she wouldn't want it left to wasted either so she accepts it. She thanks 'Dewdrop' for the food quietly with a hum, before digging in herself. She does appreciate the lioness' company too and is very pleased that things never turned to violence, so Rina may visit again sometime of course if she visits she'll seek the feline out instead of going straight for the den. Still she hopes that... Things do get better for 'Dewdrop' she may try and help if she does visit, even though she doesn't specifically know what happened and it is not her place to demand what happened, it's the lioness' choice on whether or not she wishes to talk about it. Nonetheless though, even if it's impossible she does hope that things pick up for the lioness even just a little bit at least...
