Gabriel's ears pricked as, of course, someone crept up behind him. Their footsteps were louder, betraying the size as a larger creature, yet their claws remniscent of another canine. Its ears flicked back, and it drew to a steady halt before turning its head back the way it came, one large red eye glancing back. It had the
compulsion to continue, wanting to learn its way as soon as it possibly could, but felt like speaking to another creature could reveal things far more valuable to it. Slowly, Gabriel tuned around and sat back on its haunches, recognizing the canid that approached despite the grisly artifact they wore atop their head.
It didn't seem surprised however, and a small smirk crept up onto its bald face.
"Andromeda," Gabriel greeted in turn, with a deep bow of his head.
"I want to learn my way," it told her honestly. There was no harm in that, and so showed no hesitation in talking about it.
"I'm going to find my place in these caves, and to do that I need to know them inside and out. Yourself? It seems you've got a plan already."
Surely there was something more to that than just looking formidable? Although even if that was the sole intent, wearing a skull wasn't all that bad of an idea, not when they were so small and defenseless as of now. It could even act as armour. Not even its magic could do that yet.
This world was slowly unravelling more and more as time went by. This place really was more complicated than it'd ever suspected inside its golden chamber.
