Astaroth cast an annoyed glance back at Berith. "You seem to have forgotten that some cannot see as well as us in this darkness, there are fears that can effect anyone, one of those being the unknown which is what you can't see not the unknown? And as for his stutter, anybody could be effected by an impediment either by speech, mind, or body. Even I have one." He lifted his splayed paw as he looked at the fox "In case you've forgotten. Now tone it down, these are not enemies, unless they make themselves be, which in that case I don't believe they would last long, though I sense they're smarter than that." He looked at the serval then, Zevruu he called himself? "And my name is Astaroth, and this" he motioned towards Berith "Is my mate Berith."

Berith smirked at the response of the cheetah and his friend feeling accomplished at the embarrassment and self doubt he had ensued. He growled however in response to the slight shock and snarled angrily, but before he could respond angrily Astaroth was talking and he soon felt extremely guilty as he heard Astaroth reprimand him and tell him what he had done was not okay.
He looked away from the other two creatures feeling ashamed. "You are right.. I'm... I'm sorry, I was in the wrong. Berith whispered to Astaroth and then looked at the other two creatures so he could apologize to them as well. I apologize for my off behavior, my mate was right to set me straight and to correct me. I hope we can move past this. Apologizing made him slightly sick but he knew that he had to.
