Warning: May be triggering and sad
Spores shot out at the moose, and he couldn't help but breathe them in. And suddenly, he wasn't there, in the fight anymore.
Cycles later, and Miss Blackberry still hadn't returned. She hadn't emerged from that chrysalis, and everything was different. Blueberry saw himself, full grown now. But he was emicated, laying on the ground next to the rock that was Blackberry. He kept hitting his head, no, not his head, but his gem against a stone. And then, finaly, a crack rang through the tunnel and Blueberry was no more.
Blue was jolted back into the fight. He wasn't dead, and he was still him. Young, and strong, and healthy. Not dying and greiving. He still had hope. That vision, that hallucination, it wasn't real.
It will never be real. Now, time to show this bitch not to mess with me. Blue let out a low noise, almost like a growl, but not quite. He bowed his head and charged. He would throw her against the wall, and he would make her leave. But Berry couldn't kill the wolf, that was for Blackberry. When she returned.
Round: 4
Attack: Use antlers to throw her
Defense: None
Injuries: None

In the moments that the moose was distracted, Kera took the chance to move away from him. A part of her knew that this could be it; she could run back, take the topaz and run straight out to Polaris so that she didn't have to pass either Blueberry or the goose's remains again. If she had to go back she could go through another tunnel, the one with the drawings on the walls. It would be fine.
The wolf huffed, skittering towards the alcove she had once made her nest. Before she could do anything else, however, she heard the clattering of hooves behind her. With a grimace she turned and then dove out of the way; but she was too slow.
Thrown against the wall with a yelp, Kera flinched and began to concentrate. With the moose's face so close to her now she only needed to summon up enough magic and light to blind him for a while so that she could get away.
Don't fail me now, she thought, as she started intently at the moose and focused quietly on her gemstone. With the rose quartz gem glittering under her fur, a strong beam of light conjured and then shot directly into Blueberry's eyes.

Round: 4
Attack: Blinding beam; blind/daze Blueberry
Defense: None
Injuries: Limp on her foreleg, bleeding from a wound out her side

A blinding flash of light shone into the moose's eyes. He squeezed them shut, letting out a roar of pain and fury. He would attack again, he would make her pay for this pain.
But Blueberry couldn't. It wasn't his battle to win, it wasn't his life to take. That was Blackberry's victory. Not his. He would leave the wolf for her to finish off. Blue slowly opened his eyes back, seeing flashes of little lights dance before him. He shook his head and glared at the wolf.
"Leave. Now. Befoe I make you leave, forever." Blue threatened, backing up like he was going to charge once more. But he wouldn't. The wolf was safe, for now.
As long as she left.
