Amazon listened to the dog-dragon thing with wide eyes as she breathed heavily, gulping in air as if she would never breath air again. It had certainly felt that way in the river. She had seen death coming towards her and to suddenly be thrust back into life was a shock, to say the least. Her questions died away as she just stared at the wolf, he head slowly drooping until it was against the ground.

At the mention of magic coming from her gem, Amazon strained her arm as she reached up to touch her spike. The warmth came again through her fingers, uncomfortable and 'dirty' heat. Was that magic? She did not think that she liked it much. She would not be using it. Yet she felt that, still, she was dependent on magic. How that was, she did not know.

"I'm...Amazon. Sorry I gave you...so much trouble. What's...your name?" Her words pushed through deep breaths and pants and she struggled to catch her breath. It was getting better, though, as he heart slowly began to calm itself to its normal beating.
