Max's eyes crossed, attempting to look at the bear's leg that dangled between his eyes. He nodded excitedly, saying "I like fake bear! Fare? Faer?" not caring in the least as the bear slid forward, blocking his vision and slumping over his muzzle.

"I will find a thing for you since you found this for me!" he pranced, the bear bouncing on his muzzle.

He turned to see the source of the noise, his ears perking upright. "Where are you?" he woofed, "I cannot see and so I cannot know who you are!"

However, it offered its name, and he woofed excitedly. "Hello Zola I am Max and this is my best best best friend Humphrey! I have only just met you, but I love you."

Zola looked at the two creatures, Humphrey and Max. Slowly she tilted her head and gave a confused look to Humphrey as he asked her a question. Then she looked to Max. After he was finished speaking she looked back to Humphrey again.

“Zola not understand. Zola wonders what Humphrey means. Talk like what?”

She stared at him before turning to Max.

“Zola likes Max too.”

She then looked back to Humphrey once more, watching him and waiting for her own answer.

Humphrey looked at this blurry smudge in his vision with his head tilted. She poke with her own name, it was very interesting to listen but he wasn't sure why she was talking like that. It didn't seem to bother Max, so why should it bother him either.

"Well..." He hesitated then decided not to say anythign else about it. If it made her happy to talk like that then it didn't bother Humphrey. "Nevermind! Zola, what are you? I can't see very well."

It was true, she was just a grey blur with an orange spot on her face. It was also very strange that she stood so upright. Did she not have four legs? Or did she have four little tiny legs? Humphrey was quite curious.
