Okay, so this is an unofficial preliminary GM post. A few people know that there will be a new Trial of Hydra coming up soonish. They're wondering about planning, as far as what characters to put in and so forth. So, a few bits of information so you can gauge how to approach this:

1. This Trial will be short, and fast. I do not expect it to last more than a cycle, two at the most, and likely it will be 3-4 days' limit to each round's posts (let me know if you guys have a preference). We have other things planned to happen on site so I don't want to tie up characters for too long.

2. There will be a LIMIT of 3 chars per player to enter.

3. There will be GUARANTEED deaths. The Trial will take a toll of a % of characters entered, likely 1/10th to 1/5th. (Let me know if you have preferences here, too.) This will be baked into the actual trial mechanics for this one.

4. It will be horror themed. If you do not like scary-as-shit situations and potential Lovecraftian and/or body horror type things, do not enter this one. Think Aliens 2 for an idea of thematic fear, suspense, horror.

5. Rewards will be amped up to make up for the guaranteed deaths. As before you will still be able to claim magicka for the thread completion PER CHARACTER entered, even if they die early on.

6. It will likely start after Vargas emerges from his chrysalis next week--within the next 1-2 weeks after that, as in-character, he himself will be running it.

7. Anyone can hear about it. IC, Vargas will be sending runners to announce the Trial and rewards.

8. Since we have a number of new members with only bebbe chars, I may make some adoptables available to use. These will come with specific rules, and if used, the member can ONLY enter their adopted (randomly-chosen by a GM) char into the Trial.
